Port Side at M is a newly renovated, pet-friendly 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath home in Galveston's Historic Lost Bayou District — the upper-left unit of a beautifully kept triplex at 1703 Avenue M, an easy 8-minute walk to the beach with sand reachable in multiple directions. Sleeps 6.
THE SPACE — LIVING AREA & KITCHEN A comfortable living area welcomes you with a leather sofa, generous natural light, and a smart TV — the perfect place to gather after a beach day. The adjacent dining area and full kitchen come stocked with stainless steel appliances (full refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, gas stove) plus a Keurig and starter k-cups.
THE SPACE — BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS The primary bedroom features a king bed with a backyard view, a ceiling fan, and a reading chair. The second bedroom offers two queen beds and a roomy closet. A full bath with a renovated stand-up shower and a separate half bath give everyone space to get ready. Linens and towels are provided, and an in-unit washer and dryer keep your suitcase light.

The home is in a lovely older quiet safe neighborhood. I walked my little dog several times a day feeling very comfortable. The balcony was nice. The home is close to the seawall, places to eat, shop and have fun.
Nice place and neighborhood. Close to the beach, the strand and shopping.

Clean, Cute, and Cozy
Shower is very nice (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided), short walk to the beach and beds are very comfy! They even provided beach towels which was a huge plus as we don’t own any and did not want to purchase them!
Charming property in a great location. One glitch, with some basics such as paper towels & TP missing, however management was quick to respond & rectify the situation. Would stay there again.
Great property. The entire space can very easily accomodate 6. Has all amenities and is very close to the Cruise line/beach.

Great Family Vacation Spot
We had a wonderful weekend before heading out for a big family cruise over Labor Day weekend! The accommodations were clean, we had everything we needed, and the owners were kind enough to inform us of some local events happening over the weekend. The location was great- we absolutely loved Shykats Diner for breakfast, and it was a very short walk for us to get there! Highly recommend!

Great place to stay
The house and accommodations were exactly as advertised and my wife and I had an amazing time during our stay. All of our questions were answered swiftly and the overall customer service was top notch. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch enjoying the view of the historical homes that line the entire block. You can get anywhere you want to go within minutes, beach, restaurants, shopping… It’s not a lot of fluff, it’s just right.

We stayed overnight here to attend an event at Texas A&M Galveston. The upstairs duplex was clean and quick drive to campus. Everything was clean and restful. We appreciated the visit.

PERFECT
Our weekend was wonderful! The duplex was clean and in a perfect location. It was warm and cozy with plenty of room. We had plenty of sun and the porch was the perfect place to have our coffee. Will definitely be back!!

Great service!
Our stay had a bit of a rough start, but Gareth corrected the situation IMMEDIATELY! I was very pleased with his quick response and he made things right. Apartment is very comfortable! I would stay here again!
We stayed one night prior to our cruise. The house was clean and described accurately by the host. Close to everything in Galveston. Will rent here again for our next cruise if it’s available
