The home is on the second row on Bermuda Beach only steps from the ocean. We are pet friendly. Your fur babies will love the proximity to the beach. Enjoy views of horseback riders on the beach, relaxing sounds of the ocean from the upper deck, or a cool beverage on the lower covered patio. This cozy home will give you that much-needed escape to relaxation and fun.

The well-equipped, updated kitchen will accommodate you and your guests. There are two bedrooms and a pull-out sofa so the house can sleep up to 6 people comfortably. The bathroom was recently updated as well. The finishings give it a spa-like, tranquil feel. The house has wifi and Roku for entertainment.

The Property is located only minutes from all the excitement that Galveston has to offer but offers you the peace and serenity of beach living.

Charming Coastal Cottage

Great beach front property

Great spacious property with 360 views and a clear view of the Gulf of Mexico. Rooms are a bit dated, but still pretty clean. House has 2 balconies with the top balcony being on the 3rd floor. Beautiful views .

Great Beach House to Relax in Galveston

Kathy’s house had what we needed for a very nice, relaxing weekend. The beds were comfortable, plenty of open space inside, the rooftop deck is wonderful with a view of the Gulf, and is located on a very quiet section of beach, even on a holiday weekend.

Family weekend getaway

We really enjoyed the location of this property and the view of the deck! It was perfect for our baby and dog too. Close enough to go into downtown Galveston to eat in 15 mins but far enough away to avoid the beach crowds.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY!

What a cute little cottage in an almost perfect place to stay! Not a complete oceanfront view, but definitely a good one! Very clean, comfortable, and came with everything you’d need! Can’t think of one item I looked for in the kitchen that I didn’t find. The host, Karen, was very responsive to questions and very helpful!! Great location outside of town/sea wall area, yet only a short ride to get into town, with several convenience stores close by. We would definitely stay here again!!!!

Great for families, quiet, calm environment. The house has great beach views, relaxing balconies, and is very close to the beach, literally a few steps away. We were still close enough to Galveston attractions and shopping, 10-20 min drive to most places.

On the beach

Great older home 20 feet from beach. 2nd row home. Still had great views and full ocean sound. Water was so close you could feel ocean spray with the wind blowing. Inside was clean, cute and comfortable. 10 minute drive into town. Grwat price. Will stay again.

Great location for spring break.

Spent spring break at this house. Great location close to shops with non-crowded beach. The house has several great spots to enjoy the ocean views. The outdoor setting is very comfortable. Bring your own beach towels and sand toys. Kitchen has all essentials but larger knives need to be sharpened. Bath is average with single shower head. Towels were not the fluffiest.

Steps to the beach

Almost perfect location, basically just around the corner from the beach. Family friendly quiet neighborhood. Seller gave great directions. Especially like the deck on the roof made it private with a good view of the beach

It's a charming place to get away.

Some friends and I, who used to be neighbors, decided to have a reunion down in Galveston. We had narrowed our selection of beach house rentals and chose the "quirky" one, "My Peace of the Beach". We made reservations quickly and easily. Kathy, our hostess, was friendly, responsive, and thorough. We were well cared for. Our favorite place to hang out was on the first level deck. The setting was perfect for sharing memories and tall tales. The decor inside the house was playful, colorful, sometimes surprising, and definitely pleasing. We've already decided to revisit next year!

Great little Oceanside oasis

We enjoyed our stay! The place is perfectly equipped and clean. Our pups really enjoyed the proximity to the ocean and the closed in deck made it great for off the leash time. Communication was perfect and everything was exactly as described. So glad we chose this place for our weekend getaway. 😊

Galveston get away

We had a great stay at this Bermuda Beach house. It’s not fancy, but very functional for our needs. We spent most of our time outdoors on the covered porch and on the upper open deck. The house has a great view of the waves and is a short walk to the beach.

Fun in the sun

I really loved this house! For an older Beach house it was still in good shape. Of course it needs some work on the outside but that a given from the beating of the beach. This house is great in my opinion and I would definitely rent it again!

Great experience

The house and property manager were awesome. The location is also great - easy access to the beach and a convenient drive to the sea wall. The beach itself was not great - the biggest problem was that it was covered with rocks - but this might be because it was relatively soon after a tropical storm that caused high tides in the area.

We travel to Galveston Every Year in September. This Location was Perfect for Us & if You have Pets, this is a Perfect Location. Equisite & 8 min. Rest&Relaxation

Loved the place. Communication with the host was wonderful. The location was fabulous. It was just a block down but that did make a huge difference. If your looking for a quieter stay, that your view is the beach instead of packed cars and day trippers, this is the place.Nothing at all against the day trippers at all , but this place has a bit more privacy and a great block that does not have a lot of traffic. My wife shares that the rooftop tanning deck was “everything”.

Relaxing time

My husband and I went down to Galveston during Christmas and although Galveston's beach is not the prettiest, it is still a beach. I love the sound of the waves, the breeze, and the quiet. Very few people on the beach this time of year. The place we stayed could use a deep clean. The lighting was very poor - not enough lights or very low wattage. It was difficult to read in the evenings. Although the basics - toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent was provided. There was no soap for the shower so we had to go to the grocery store to buy some. A bar of soap doesn't cost much and is a nice touch for renters.
