Condo is in a great location and has wonderful views of the ocean from the balcony! Super close to the beach and easy to walk there and back. The AC in the condo works amazingly and we went in the dead of summer! The pictures make the condo look slightly bigger than it is, but my group of 4 was very comfortable! Communication with the owner was great and she is very responsive!

Family getaway

Love Casa del Mar. Have stayed a handful of times in different condos. Never a bad visit. Location is perfect. 5 min walk to beach and fishing pier. Restaurants close by as well. The grandkids love playing on the beach. 61st pier serves the best drinks too!!

This is my family and I second stay at this condo, and it is still just as amazing as the last! This will always be my go place “condo” in Galveston! When I’m here I feel like I’m home. There is a new local restaurant next door called Doc Holidays and it is fantastic!

My wife n I had just lost our son to over a year battle with esophageal cancer. We needed some alone time in a relaxing place to just come to grips with our loss. Rachel's place was perfect. Weekend get away

Booked the condo last minute and was extremely pleased with our visit. Location of property was clean, fully stocked with towels & kitchen supplies. Bonus because it was super convenient to the beach, grocery & restaurant. The Property manager was prompt to answer a text when I had questions. (Within a minute, which is AMAZING compared to other Vrbo I have booked.) Traveled with two kids who loved the bunkbeds & access to a pool after a day at the beach. We are already planning our next trip.

Condo, location, and view were excellent. Supplies and accessories were more than adequate. Listing says for up to six people, but more than two would be an overcrowding. Where would six store all their stuff. I would remove the bunkbeds and list as a couples retreat.

Always a blast staying this condo! This my family and I’s fifth time staying at this particular condo and it will always be our go to destination to stay in Galveston. The condo is always so very clean and welcoming the moment you walk into it; everything you need is within a short walking distance like a nail spa, Rita’s ice cream and frozen treats, delicious meals from Doc Holidays, convenience store with a McDonalds next door, The Beach is literally directly across the street and not to mention one of the pools at the facility is heated so that’s a plus. Fantastic place for couples or families to come to and Racheal is the best host ever if you need her she’s always very prompt to respond to make sure your happy with your stay. She’s stuck with me and my family for future stays

Great stay!

This property is perfectly located and has a view! Parking is great as it is covered and there was always a spot for us close to the elevator. We stayed there with two kids one and four years old. I wish the bedroom was big enough to put the pack and play in it but other than that, the room is a great size. One area of feedback I would give is make it clear that laundry facilities or not included. there is no stackable washer dryer in this unit, but the condo has coin operated washers and dryers available. The owner was very prompt and response and we were very grateful for that. The floors could’ve been cleaner, our feet were black after walking around the condo. There’s a broom and dust pan, but I would recommend maybe a swiffer or cordless vacuum. It has everything you need to go down to the beach so if you fly into town, you don’t need to bring chairs, umbrellas, etc. their luggage cards available to use to haul all of your stuff in the elevator as well. We’ve talked about returning to this exact condo in the future!
