"Great pub with rooms with everything we needed. If you are lucky, as we were, you will get magnificent views over the Teign estuary. We didn't get to eat with them in the evening but two locals informed us it was their go to place for an evening meal."

"We arrived early and Linda and John kindly let us leave our bag while we went off for the afternoon. The bed was comfy, the room was clean and had everything you need. I'm only 5.4" and wear contact lenses, I found the mirrors were difficult to see into, either on tiptoe leaning over the sink or not in the bathroom. "Room overlooking the beach, very spacious & clean. Good soundproofing our sleep was not disturbed by other guests. Used the pool and sauna all very clean & very helpful staff. Breakfast was a lovely continental selection, lots of fresh fruit. Restaurant had a stunning view of the beach, would've like some lighter options for lunch and dinner. Mini bus was a great little added extra for getting to and from the edge of town. Very helpful staff eager to help."
