Excellent place— one of the best equipt stays I’ve ever had! Kitchen was fully stocked, games, firewood, and lots of towels and blankets. Made for a cozy, convenient place to stay for a few days. Great outdoor space and plenty of space. Will stay here again.
The Riffle House is situated in a great location with easy drive time to downtown Bozeman and other great locations to visit and explore. Spacious; well appointed with everything one needs; and a short walking distance to the awesome Stacey's Old Faithful Bar - which serves good food, drinks at great prices. Loved the outdoor fire pit with lots of firewood ready and the backyard ends right on the Gallatin River.
We stayed 4 nights at the end of our trip to Montana/wyoming. The bed was comfortable and the home was gorgeous!! Only suggestion is to upgrade the hot water heater to a continuous water heater. It would make that tub and shower more enjoyable for sure!
We are MSU parents of 2. When we arrived, we already had our kids waiting to hang with us to eat homemade cooking and fish. Even their friends showed up. We had such a great time we plan on making this a tradition.
Stayed at this beautiful home with my mother while we checked my son into MSU. We were greeted with fresh baked cookies that were delicious and such a nice touch! The drive to and from the school was only about 20min and if you take Gulch Hill it’s such a beautiful winding road and views! The home is so clean, full of everything you need, and each room is uniquely decorated and neat architecture! The beds and pillows were so comfortable too! As wonderful as the home is inside, we actually spent much of our time either on the back deck or right at the rivers edge…for beautiful sunrises/sets, sipping coffee, reading, eating meals and listening to the birds and peaceful river. I’ve stayed at many rentals and this was by far one of my favorites! I will definitely have to visit my college student so I have an excuse to stay in this lovely home again!
This property ranks up there with my favorite of all time. There were 5 adults and 3 queens and a king so everyone had a great room/bed. The kitchen was fully stocked and a grill outside that we used to cook all our meals we ate while there. It’s located on beautiful Gallatin River and was so peaceful listening to nature and watching people fish. Its location for seeing Montana and Yellowstone was perfect. We want to go back just to stay on this beautiful piece of property.
We enjoyed this beautifully appointed home near the Gallatin River. We appreciated its short walk to the Westerner where we danced and enjoyed good conversation.
This place is an absolute gem! The house is set on the river were you can easily fish from the backyard! They had a beautiful fire place with pre cut wood ready to use! The deck out back has the most beautiful view! The inside was beautifully decorated and a mix of modern but homey features! The tub and shower are AMAZING! The beds and blankets were clean and comfortable and the towels were so fluffy! They even had laundry pods and dish washer pods ready for us to use which was beyond helpful! Anything we needed, the host responded immediately! If you are coming to stay in Bozeman, this place is an absolute MUST!
My family had an incredible time at the Gallatin Gateway rental. The house was clean and cool in the summer heat and a great jump off point to Yellowstone and other National Forest in the area.
This was the perfect spot for a week away. The backyard feels very private, plenty of wildlife to see, and the river is right there, great spot to fly fish!
We stayed at the house for a Montana State visit and Bigsky skiing and this was a perfect location. It also helps that I love to trout fish, the river is easy access behind the house and there are 2-3 real juicy spots within 200 yard walk. Made is real easy to duck out for an hour and hook a quality fish while the family relaxed after shredding it on the mountain.
Beautiful location with small branch of Gallatin River in the backyard, extremely quiet and peaceful. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will stay here again.
The property is absolutely first rate: beautiful, well designed and decorated, well equipped, and Corinne was always available if we had any need. We loved our stay. It was great for family, had a fabulous view and we even enjoyed the horse across the street and the deer crossing the road in the evening.
Our family loved being so close to the river and the home was great for us. We especially appreciated the many little "extras" that not all VRBOs provide, like extra paper towels, blankets, pillows, spices, detergent, etc... that made our stay that much better. Thank you for a wonderful time with our adult "kids"!
Three generations (grandparents, parents, children) stayed in this cozy home. There was plenty of room inside, and outside, for all to play and visit. Being right on the river was very nice, and the fire pit was a big hit! The host was very responsive. We loved it!
The house was just as advertised. I locked myself out and we had a very frustrating time getting a hold of a person to speak with. Finally someone showed up and we sure were grateful. The lovely shower in the main bathroom did not work. When I mentioned it to them that responded with “thanks for letting us know”. We didn’t get to enjoy that luxury. The big bathtub ran out of hot water before it was filled. And the grass hadn’t been mowed and everything was overgrown. We wanted to sit by the river more but the grass was too tall to walk comfortably through. We paid top dollar for this property.
We had an amazing experience! The fire pit, the River, and the location was awesome! The house was amazing and had everything we needed! Make sure to keep the doors closed though lots of bugs in the area that came in and were outside the house! Loved every minute here!
We really enjoyed staying at this house. Comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen and a beautiful setting make for a nice stay.
We really enjoyed it here.
