"The hotel was in a fabulous setting in an old monastery. Notwithstanding its age, it had been modernised sympathetically and had the benefit of historical features with the comforts of modern age. We have stayed with Parador hotels before in Salamanca and feel they offer great value for money."

Perhaps it was too early in the season but the general areas outside could do with sprucing up. The food in the evening was fantastic. The breakfast was okay but not to the same standard.
