"The property was clean and the setting was perfect! We sat by the fire ring which was right beside pine creek. We saw an eagle on our first night. Then we hiked and rode our side by side all the way to Colton park. At the end of the day we relaxed in the hot tube. The host responded to all our questions in a timely manner and was very kind. "This cabin is awesome for a couple or 3 ppl! Clean, perfectly decorated, comfortable, across from Pine Creek and down the road from the Ole Covered Wagon tour and east and west rims of the Grand Canyon of Pa. We took macadam roads and dirt roads while in our search for new places and of course “big foot!!!” Relaxing and fun. Host,Shelly very responsive and pleasant, making booking check in and out a breeze! Thanks Shelly! Looking forward to booking next year again! "

The area and people in the area were fantastic all the restaurants we ate at had real home cooked food. The cabin was awesome and made you feel like you at home. "

"What an amazing place! The kids loved it and we all had a great time around the fire. FYI, if it's warm outside, talk around the fire from the chairs, but if it's cool outside, the giant fire pit is actually a warm seat and a small fire will be all you need.The creek was a bit low in late August, but still beautiful, and the surrounding grounds were spacious to be sure. The pond is very nice, and though we didn't catch any fish, a very large one did bend the rod almost in half. The location is near the PA grand canyon and most other area attractions - no shortage of hiking opportunities.The fireplace inside was wonderful and kept the house perfectly warm on cool nights. Be prepared for some confusion when walking around upstairs since there is a lot of symmetry, but this is more entertainment than anything.The kids were over in the game room most of the time playing pool or foosball, leaving the adults with unexpected relaxation. There's a TV in there as well, but it barely got turned on. The only slight complaint is that route 6 is not terribly far away on the far side of the river, but it's almost dead after 6 or 7 pm, which is when we were most likely to be at the fire pit anyway. Overall, it was a great experience. Thank you to our hosts!!"
