Asked to check in early at 1:30 - knew it was a long shot but you never know and instead of politely telling us no we needed to wait, the day shift clerk was very nasty about telling us we couldn’t check in until 3 Our original room had a few issues with dirty linen and the night clerk was very helpful in getting us a new room This motel has gone downhill and has not been maintained properly The towel rack that held our “clean” towels was covered in rust I normally stay here twice a year for the last 3-4 years but I won’t be using this motel in the future

The pool was ok however the door was broken and got trapped inside. The continental break doesn't have meat only on a sandwich. The room had a old musty smell and had to spray air freshener the housekeeping gave me. It didn't work so I sprinkled carpet freshener down and she vacuum and that did work much either. The carpet felt gummy and needs to be replaced. The freezer was frozen over so couldn't really use it. The water backed up in the tub while taking a shower the 1st night and complained to the night mgr. The 3rd night it did it again. Flies everywhere because the backdoor lock was broken so the door stayed opened. Our room door had a gap at the top so we couldn't escape them. At least 5-8 flies at all times. Staff was nice. Location was convenient next to food and gas. We understand it is a old building but it can definitely use a upgrade.

The room was great! It was clean and exactly what we expected! The staff was courteous and accommodating! Breakfast was surprisingly great! They had a very good variety of food! No complaints on our stay at all.
