Welcome to James River Landing—your riverside retreat just a block from downtown Galena, Missouri. Nestled along the scenic James River, this getaway blends the peace of nature with the convenience of being just minutes from Branson’s attractions—while still feeling a world away.

The river is literally your backyard. Select outfitters can shuttle you upriver so you can float back to your cabin—or simply relax on the back deck and take in the sights and sounds of nature. Prefer to stay dry? Enjoy a peaceful stroll, watch wildlife, or unwind by the water’s edge.

Our property includes four cozy cabins (each sleeps 4) and one spacious lodge (sleeps 12), all elevated on stilts for unbeatable views and a unique stay right at the water’s edge.

Cabin #1 is The Trout's Haven—one of our charming one-bedroom cabins, perfect for couples or small families.

Planning a gathering? Rent multiple cabins for a reunion or friend getaway. Float together, picnic by the river, then retreat to your private cabin, all connected by a shared deck just steps from the shoreline. Inquire and we can help!

We had a wonderful time staying at the cabin! We hope to stay again in the future when we have more time to spend exploring the area. The host responded quickly to our questions. The cabin was clean and comfortable.

Nice cabin on the river

The property manager was amazing to work with! The place was super clean and well kept! We had two fun days at the river! Overall, we had a wonderful time! The first night we stayed all of the guests in the neighboring cabins were super quiet and it was so peaceful. The second evening it was less quiet but still good. Only downfall is the cabins proximity To other cabins! Would stay again!
