This is an amazing property. It was well located within the territory and a short drive to downtown Galena. The property owners were also amazing to work with. I would highly recommend a stay here

Great peaceful escape!

Our stay at the owl creek lodge was perfect for our yearly family trip. Very spacious with room for everyone, and we never felt crammed. Fully stocked kitchen, and they had everything we needed. We were surrounded my serene nature, but just a few minutes away from downtown Galena. Will definitely be staying again.

Beautiful home in picturesque location — loved watching deer and wildlife from the house! Wood fireplace and large kitchen were perfect for friends dinners, game nights, etc. Enjoyed some foosball matches and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Thank you!

We enjoyed staying in Galena for a few nights and taking advantage of all it has to offer. This house was perfect- it had all the amenities we needed, was well kept, comfortable and spacious. We liked that it felt private and secluded but was close enough to the Territory’s activities. We will be back!

This house was perfect for our friends weekend! The pictures and description don't do it justice. It was everything described and more. So much room to spread out and stocked with everything we needed. We will be back!

Friends Getaway

Every year we find a place in Galena to just hang out for the weekend. This one checked all the boxes! Large living space to watch all the March Madness we could handle, hot tub, huge kitchen. A comment from everyone was how comfortable the beds all were! Next year we won't be doing much looking around! We found a spot for many years to come with this gem!We did not get to utilize the fire place, but it would have been amazing! This property is very secluded as well.

We did not take advantage of the fire pit, but had it not been so cold out we absolutely would have. We loved the coziness of the fireplaces. Great kitchen for cooking! Great supply of games. The only negatives were, the entry door is downstairs so heavy coolers and such needed to be carried upstairs to the kitchen (main floor), and the narrow winding driveway (3 cars fit just fine). Overall, we had a fabulous time and look forward to visiting again!

Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Owner stocks more than a typical home rental which is very generous.

The house was comfortable, had many up to date amenities, & had the owners club benefits too. The only problems we had were that the upstairs tv remote didn’t work initially after having the maintenance man visit & the downstairs shower drain backed up. We got the tv to work but even after using some Drano, the shower remained clogged. Overall it was a lovely home & we would rent again !

The lodge was clean, spacious, quiet, comfortable and private. It was a hot weekend, but the AC kept up. The hot tub was enjoyable as well as the outdoor patio. Alll bedrooms were in the basement except the master suite. Not too far from Downtown Galena and we used the local bus service to get around. 10/10 would reccomend!
