charming but we were on the 5th floor- no elevator and the narrowest steepest stairs ever. But- that’s Amsterdam for you. the hotel staff were all helpful and the room was great. Updated and spacious bathroom. floors a little dusty throughout but it didn’t bother us.

The best of the hotel is its location. The subway is in walking distance; it is close to the museums. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and gave good advice about the city. There is a happy hour in the hotel with free drinks between 4pm and 6pm every day. The stairs to the rooms are steep; you need to be able to navigate them.

"It was just a place to stay. The room had five beds in it. It was hot in the room, so we opened the windows, but people were talking outside at the cafe until Midnight, so it was hard to sleep.
