"The staff went out of their way to make us have a great time. Very helpful all around. You won’t go wrong staying here if you are tired of the big cities and want to get away. The restaurant was a perk due to our waitress and cook “Sugar” she offered us one of everything the first night and just brought us dishes to try. It was excellent! We stayed it the new area across from the main area. Borgo La noche and it was really nice to wake up to bread cooking.. our hostess there was the best and gave us great places to go spend our day at castles and towns near there. She was very sweet and helpful with everything!"

"Nice staff, plentiful breakfast, clean room. However we stayed in March and the room was unbearably hot. It was like sleeping in a furnace. We did not sleep the two nights we stayed. We were told by reception the heat was automatic and there was nothing they could do. Other guests were complaining of the same thing. For the price we paid to stay here this was pretty unacceptable. The bathroom also had a radiator blasting heat at all times that could not be controlled. "

"The deluxe bungalow was great! Similar in size to a large hotel room with comfy beds. It was cold in March after the sun set, so we were glad the heating worked. We often got our breakfast at the market and ate dinner at the restaurant on site or got takeout. The laundromat worked fine for our needs, but after only 1 cycle in the dryer, our clothes were still a bit damp, so we air dryer them in our room. The staff were great and check-in/out were quick and easy."

"Italiana Hotels Florence was a very enjoyable place to stay. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and well organized, making our visit to Florence relaxing and smooth. The included breakfast was a great bonus and made our mornings easy and convenient. We also appreciated the free parking, which was very helpful and practical. The staff were great, friendly, professional, and always ready to assist. Overall, a wonderful experience and a solid choice for anyone visiting Florence."

"this hotel is very difficult to find. you need to drive over 30 mins of mountain road with very bad road condition. i found bugs and inserts in the room, and the fire place is dirty. one of the room also leak water. "

"You are paying for the view!!!! This hotel was not worth the money spent in my opinion. The hotel staff was not very accommodating, though the restaurant staff was lovely. We had to bring our luggage up to our room and back down during check in and check out — no one even offered and trust me it was a hike to get it up there. Also they overcharged us at every turn. At their overpriced wine testing (which they were unprepared for our reservation, not set up and didn’t remember what we booked) they said a bottle was $40, then at dinner said the same bottle was now $65! Every glass of wine was steeply priced and the wine tasting was boring and uninformative. We preferred our wine tasting elsewhere (save your money!). The bed was extremely uncomfortable, worst one we slept on the whole trip. While the chef at their restaurant is incredible, we enjoyed our first dinner there and felt like it was worth the money. The food for the olive grove dinner was not as good and we didn’t even get to sit in the grove for most of the night due to the cold temps (the highlight was the incredible live band they had which saved the dinner for us). Overall we spent almost no time at the hotel and were very disappointed in the overall experience — not a luxury experience at all. Save your money, go elsewhere or be prepared to pay solely for the view. "
