Renovated cottage in 55 plus neighborhood in Gainesville FL. Pool and Pickleball

Our 55 plus gated neighborhood is quiet and tranquil. The cottage has been renovated in 2022 with all new fixtures, flooring, appliances and beds. It's a comfortable place to enjoy the Florida sunshine by sitting and having coffee in our side "garden" room outside, playing a round of pickle ball or diving into the solar heated pool. If you have come to visit the 5 natural springs start with Ginnie Springs about 15 miles north in High Springs where you can tube down the Santa Fe River and float into the 5 different springs with temperature at 72-78 F year round (you can rent tubes there or bring your own). Maybe you want to tour the famous UF butterfly atrium or wait for sunset to see the Lake Alice bat house exodus on the UF campus only 6 miles away. Then catch a local bite at Sachel's Pizza and a brewery tour at one of the 5 local breweries including the Daft Cow just 2 miles north of us.

A Beach, yes it's Florida The cottage is equidistant between to the Atlantic Ocean (Crescent Beach) and the Gulf of Mexico (Cedar Key) about an hours drive either way. Disney, Epcot and Universal about 2-21/2 hrs.
The neighborhood is a great place to walk, run or bike as it is flat and low traffic. Our driveway will fit 2 cars easily.
