The secluded Lakefront home is on almost two acres of wooded land with pine, oak, magnolia, and hickory trees. Enjoy the beautiful waterfront views from the indoor living area, large wrap-around deck, or brand new dock with sundeck and screen in the room. Starlink Wi-Fi is available at the house.

Walk from the deck of the house on a wooden walkway down to our beautiful large dock. The dock has a large screened-in room with a comfortable love seat, two lounge chairs, a coffee table, an end table, and a ceiling fan with light. This is the perfect spot to relax, read, enjoy the lakefront, or even bring the laptop down for work outside. There is also a large sundeck with two Adirondack chairs and a chaise lounge for sitting outside to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. We also have an outdoor shower on the dock to shower off after your swim.

The pontoon housed in the boat house on the dock is available for rental at an additional charge. Please contact for more information.

The house is on a private, spring-fed lake recognized for excellent fishing, swimming, relaxing, floating on a raft, boating, and skiing. Be sure to try out some fishing, as our lake is great for catching bass, bluegill, and sunfish. Fishing poles and tackle are provided. Enjoy the 2-person kayak or single kayak around the large lake.

The spotless waterfront home has two good-sized bedrooms, one renovated bathroom, and a large open-concept living area comprising the brand new kitchen, dining area, and living room with panoramic lakefront views. Both bedrooms are outfitted with gorgeous Amish-made solid wood furniture. The kitchen is fully stocked to prepare your meals in-house. The large, solid wood, Amish-made breakfast nook is perfect for gathering the family around to share in the bounty from your lake fishing. Outside dining on the deck on a beautiful poly lumber Amish patio set is also available.

Our home will surely become your home away from home and the perfect retreat to get away from it all!

Star Lake

This was our third visit, and we will definitely go back again. It's old Florida, very peaceful, beautiful view of the lake, and so so relaxing! We highly recommend it.

A Great Escape

If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is it. This lake house offers a lot of amenities, is well maintained and is comfortable and clean. The wraparound deck overlooks the lake. And the screened gazebo is a plus. The host is very responsive. I highly recommend this place.

A little piece of Heaven!

A place for renewal. Kayaking w my dog, sitting on the dock and watching the bald eagle above, hiking the nearby trails, reading and good conversation w my cousin.So quiet and serene!

Perfect getaway!

My wife and I had a lovely stay at this property over Valentine's week. We brought our 2 dogs, who also loved the lake and rural surroundings. The property had all of the perfect, thoughtful touches for pet-parents, and all of the amenities you could need for a stay. Communication, and recommendations were timely and on point, and the home was spotless. Would love to come back as often as we can in the future!

Relaxing stay

We were looking for a property to accommodate our family of 3 and dog while we attended the UF football game and visited our son. Although this property is about a 35 minute drive to campus, it’s a relaxing drive and welcoming environment after being around 80K people at a football game! We would definitely stay there again.

Loved this place

My family and I enjoyed everything about this place. The house has everything you need. The best amenity for us was the dock and screened in area. Perfect for enjoying the sights and sounds of the lake. We will definitely book again.

Spring Break getaway

Our stay was wonderful. We had everything we needed. We saw eagles and other wild life everyday. Fishing is good right off the dock, we rented the pontoon and found it very nice to cruise the lake.

Wonderful Stay!

Second time here and we will return. We really enjoyed our time - love spending time on the dock, lots of wildlife and beautiful sunsets. Very cozy and had everything stocked that you could ever need. The upgrades inside look great.

Beautiful place. Everything was perfect. The manager was very accomadating as we had Hurricane Milton come through on our check in day so we were allowed to move our date back. Excellent communication. We plan on staying again.

Relaxing Lake Holiday

This was the most relaxed I've been since I moved from Cincinnati to Venice. It was so peaceful and the view was gorgeous. It was just what we needed! We loved it so much we have already rebooked for in the Fall.

Great Vacation

The house was beautiful and had everything you needed. The beds were very comfortable. We spent most of our time on the dock in the screen room. Our dog loved the large property. Only negative thing was we did not want to leave. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home.

A wonderful lakeshore cabin!

Love this place. Hope to come back. Loved the screened dock room and watching the eagles and noted that there was a barred owl nearby. Went kayaking and hiked the nearby trails. Even watch a SpaceX rocket launch. My dog enjoyed the thrill of the hunt with the lizards who teased her at every turn. So relaxing and rejuvenating!

If solitude is your goal, this is the place. The cottage is well maintained, and the lake is beautiful. Perfect for flat water kayaking and fishing. The host has thought of everything and the furnishings were of top quality. Should have booked our entire vacation there. Thank you

A Little Piece of Heaven on Earth

I cannot think of enough accolades to describe how amazing this lake place is. This is our second stay and we enjoyed it as much or more this time as we did the first time. It is so nice to have a vacation place that allows us to take our dog along and NOT have to worry about her one little bit. She feels right at home!!! Linse is a jewel and she and her husband have created a special place to share with others that offers a chance for their tenants to get back to what is truly important in life. Peaceful & Fun

My sister and I had a remarkable stay at this lovely place. The house was adorable, clean and comfortable and the property was absolutely stunning. We took the pontoon boat out on the lake twice and even though the temperature was a little chilly the boat was really fun!! Our puppies even loved the pontoon rides. We hiked some local trails for 3 days and loved coming back to the comfy house (with an absolutely stunning view). We had a fire in the firepit and roasted sausages and marshmellows which was perfect for our chilly weather. Linse was an amazing host and made the entire process easy. She also left us a warm welcome note and bottle of champaign - what a sweet way to start off a little adventure. The reference book was full of things to do, places to go and had all the instructions you need, (I wish every VRBO owner did this) which makes the stay so much more pleasant. I would reccomend this place to anyone who would want to have a "base camp" for local activities or someone that wants a lovely place to relax. I would definately love to come back and stay here. Thank you Linse, you and your lovely house was fabulous!!

The house was clean as always and had everything we needed, even a new grill. There are treats and blankets for the dog. It's always very peaceful there. It was our fourth visit. We had a wonderful 3-day stay at this beautiful lakefront home for my 50th birthday! The pontoon rental was the perfect touch, and the peaceful setting made for a truly relaxing getaway. My dad, my Yorkie, and I had the best time—thank you for a memorable stay! We plan on returning.
