3 bedroom, 1 bath newly remodeled home. Sleeps six with King, Queen and Double beds. You’ll enjoy the well equipped kitchen with a large granite island and all new appliances. For your entertainment, in the great room we have provided a Blu-ray/DVD player and a small library of DVD’s to choose from. Wifi and smart TV provided so you can stream your personal video services. There is a separate living room with a foosball table, magnetic dart board and a few games. The house resides on 5 scenic well maintained acres. There is a back deck perfect for relaxing, grilling and enjoying the evening sunset with a beautiful view of the small pond located on the property. Deer, wild turkeys and other wildlife are frequently seen. The house is located just 15 minutes from the University of Florida and Santa Fe College, 10 minutes from the city of Alachua and 20 minutes from High Springs. Ginnie springs is approximately a 30 minute drive. There are a wide variety of restaurants and grocery stores within a 15 minute drive. A small grocery/convenience store is less than 4 minutes away.
Perfect place to stay for college graduations, Gator football games, Gator nationals, Gatorback motor cross, visiting the areas springs or just a quiet weekend getaway.

We were extremely happy with our stay here. The host was very easy to reach and communicated well before and during our stay, always eager to assist in any way. The property is quiet with beautiful scenery. We enjoyed having a washer/dryer to use, a comfortable living room to relax, plenty of towels and extra blankets, along with numerous bathroom amenities to use. We enjoyed the thoughtful things - such as labeling items throughout the house and luggage racks in the bedrooms, as well as some kitchen items like coffee, and some seasonings to use. We were very comfortable here and would definitely come back. I highly recommend this place for your next visit to the area!

The home is perfect! Plenty of space and so quiet! Yard is so pretty and peaceful! Owner has a book by the door with everything you will need to know during your stay. The beds are so comfortable for a great nights sleep! Foosball table and darts was a hit with the kids!!!

Peefect Weekend Stay

The house is super comfortable and extremely clean and tidy. It is well furnished with interesting and somewhat unique artwork and decorations. The bed in the master bedroom is so comfortable! Nice and quiet, and conveniently located.

Wonderful Stay

We were in town for a sports tournament and this house met all of our needs. We loved the quiet location. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to prepare family meals. The kids enjoyed the foosball table and darts. Will was a great host. We will stay again when we come back in the fall.

This was such a treat to stay in a country setting. The wide open spaces were so relaxing and beautiful. The house is clean, cozy, and just like home. Will is such an amazing host. We LOVE this property and often think of the wonderful past times we've been here. The house is updated but feels like a cozy, inviting home. The grounds are beautifully well kept and we love being outside as well as inside. There are some of the most relaxing reclining chairs in their living room and the beds are so soft. The kitchen is well stocked with quality utensils, check-in and check-out are easy, and our kiddos loved the foosball table. ''The Gainesville House'' is definitely in our top places to stay.

This is the second time we have rented this property for a family vacation. We had an absolute blast last time and the second stay was just as perfect as the first. AMAZING EXPERIENCE

Wanted to spend a long weekend with the family at Ginnie springs. Rather than camp I decided to look for a house to rent. Came across this listing and knew it was the one. The owner was super responsive we had zero issues and loved every second of our stay on this beautiful property! We are planning another trip to the springs this summer and we will definitely look for this home again!
