  • Retreat with everything you need. Fully furnished and tastefully designed 3 bedroom home on a quiet 1 acre private property, with a short 5 min walk to a shared boat dock. Boat dock is shared between our two properties only.

    Home has all the conveniences you can think of to make a perfect getaway. You can sit around the campfire in the evening or just enjoy wildlife site seeing. Rent a boat and explore Lake Lanier or relax by the fire pit or pool.

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful vrbo for our wedding weekend! It was the perfect place to peacefully relax after all the festivities. We enjoyed the walk down to the lake to enjoy our morning coffee, swam in the pool, had dinner on the patio dining table and made a cozy fire in the evening! The house was secluded and it was a nice romantic getaway! If we are ever back in the area for another long weekend, we will absolutely stay here again.

Great Weekend

We were in the area for a wedding and the place was wonderful to entertain until then. Lake was great for the dogs and the pool was great for the humans. Very well stocked kitchen for a rental too! Owners couldn’t have been nicer to deal with.

What a wonderful place

The property was clean with updated fixtures throughout. It was roomy and comfortable. The mattresses were comfortable and there was a nice outdoor space. We will definitely book again!

We were very pleased with our stay. Host was great & provided welcome snacks and even had coffee & filters available. House was very clean & comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen (even though we never used anything except coffee pot). Even saw a few deer in the morning. We will definitely stay there again next time we come to town.

Terrific Lake House!

What a Great Lake House! The house is very comfortable and well stocked. We utilized the dock as we brought our boat with us and there are many convenient launch areas around the house…as well as great places to eat on Lake Lanier. The pool area is a great place to relax with friends and family. We highly recommend this house for your next vacation on Lake Lanier!

Family Trip

The property and house is clean and beautiful. They had fun toys and pool floats for the kids and a nice fire pit. Walking to the lake was a little difficult after it rained because of how steep and muddy it was. Overall, we very much enjoyed the trip!

Perfect house!

We visited the area for our niece’s graduation. This house is obviously loved by the owners! It is beautifully decorated! The hosts very exceptional at communicating and provided their numbers if we needed anything. The property look just like the listing. We didn’t make it to the lake or the pool, but plan to visit again!

Nicely Renovated House by the Lake

We really enjoyed our stay. The recent house renovations were done well and the furniture was all very comfortable. Having a pool, grill and screened porch were great bonuses. We didn't use it but there's a great fire pit area and a decent sized yard to play catch/yard games. The path to the dock was a bit longer than expected but not too bad. And being able to fish off the dock and use the kayaks made it worth the walk. The owners were also extremely responsive to the couple questions we had and were very helpful. We'd definitely go back again!

We enjoyed our stay and the house is cute. There are some nice features like an adorable kids’ room, makeup towels, and a sauna…the sauna was divine! Walking distance to the lake and close to Downtown Gainesville. The hosts were very responsive and they even had a xmas tree and lights up for the holidays. I would definitely describe the style as “rustic” with some modern upgrades.In terms of cleanliness, the house could use a deep cleaning. I did not enjoy the clogged drain in the upstairs shower (the hosts sent drain cleaner for us to use which was helpful but we didn’t really have time to complete maintenance duties) and the downstairs shower had a bunch of hairs all over which were 100% not ours. The walls and baseboards are pretty dirty overall. And we did encounter a few bugs…but maybe that’s normal for a lake house? The freezer and fridge need a thorough cleaning. I say all this not to insult the house/hosts but to let others get a feel for the rental. Lastly, some informational items: there is no disposal so if it’s a long-term stay do expect to constantly clean food out of the kitchen sink; there are only sheer curtains in the downstairs bedroom but it’s pretty shady and private (but not a blackout situation); and we could have used more hangers.

Fantastic Lakehouse for Family

The house and the property are fantastic for a family and dogs. The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The property has fun pool, a great open grass area to play ,explore in the woods or the trail to the lake, and then the private dock in a quite cove. The home provided a great mix of feeling in the mountains and the ability to jump, fish right on the quite cove off the lake, and we were able to rent a boat near by and easily dock the boat overnight with no issues. I would recommend this amazing home to anyone with family and kids who want to explore and enjoy the Lake. Thank you Julie and Alex for letting us stay!

Great weekend and hosts

We had some friends travel five hundred miles from the coast for the weekend. It was well worth the drive. The house is well kept and beds are very comfortable. It is close to downtown Gainesville which has some amazing restaurants. It rained, but had a lot of good college football. The hosts offered to alter our stay because of the weather. They are very kind. The lake is a good distance from the lake is my only thing I had a problem with. I would recommend this experience.

Lake House

What a place to unwind! The house was so calming and had the comforts of home. A fantastic yard, front porch, screened in porch. This is a perfect place to relax- take a dip in the pool- then enjoy the evening by the fire pit. Perfect for family or just a quiet getaway. I have to be honest once we got there we had no desire to venture off we just enjoyed the serenity of the home. So secluded but yet convenient to stores and restaurants. I can’t say enough about Julia and her husband. They took care of every detailed and where beyond helpful and hospitable. We are planning a fall trip to stay at their lake house. I could only image how beautiful it will be in the fall.

Beautiful Place!

We stayed 4 nights in this beautiful home in Georgia. We are Georgia residents ourselves and were having some work done to our own home. The owner was very responsive and helpful in assisting us extend our stay an extra night while the workers finished our house. This VRBO was secluded and peaceful! Just what my husband and I needed. The WiFi worked amazing! My husband and I both work remotely and good WiFi is important for us. The home had everything we needed to feel right at home. All appliances, furniture and fixtures were basically brand new! And the owner has the best smelling candles ever! My favorite part of each night was winding down and lighting one of her heavenly candles! I even took a picture of the brand of candle for my own home! Next time we have repairs and need to be out of our own home, I look forward to renting this home and the peacefulness that comes with it!

Perfect!

I knew we were going to love this place about 20 minutes after we arrived when we started walking down the trail to the lake and 5 white tail deer started running up the side of the hill in front of us. After that, we saw deer every day on and around the property. We were here for Thanksgiving and enjoyed our meal on the screened in back porch. Such a perfect setting. Our 13 y/o son enjoyed fishing and kayaking on the lake a short walk away. We brought our golden retriever, it was our first time traveling with him, and he had the time of his life chasing squirrels and walking the trail with us. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and used it a couple of times - very relaxing. The dishes and linens in the home were of high quality and left us comfortable for our holiday. The king sized beds were wonderful and extremely comfortable. The host, Julia, was kind and attentive. I really cannot think of anything negative to say. I absolutely would recommend this place to anyone seeking a place to get away and enjoy the outdoors.

The property is attractive, inviting and well kept. Since it is spacious, not cluttered there is continuous ease of movement, room for one's belongings.
