"Vasja is a fabulous host, who greets visitors with a welcome drink & plenty of regional insight. The apartments are designed for big groups with multiple beds in multiple rooms. While we only stayed for 2 nights, things are set up nicely for week-long stays. Breakfasts are delicious and locally sourced. Bovec is reasonably convenient (35-40 min) to ski slopes in Italy. It’s also in the heart of beautiful natural wonders. Driving the mountain roads nearby is exhilarating."

"The room was poorly cleaned on our first day with stained carpets. There was never anyone around at the pool/sauna desk and nobody could explain if the sauna was included or charged so we didn’t use it. Breakfast was reasonable with good choices. A lot of children staying here so better for families I think. I would say that despite being in the four star section, it was more like a three star. No minibar or room service menu. "This place is a bit of a drive but worth it. We booked it a few hours before 19:00 The check in said the front desk would be there until 19:00. We hurried making it there at 18:55. I even texted the number provided on the listing to tell them we may be a bit late. We arrived to find no one at the reception desk. We tried calling the number provided the phone rang in the desk. Finally a lovely lady who was working in the kitchen came to our aid. Out of the Goodness of her heart helped us out and called the manager, she also got us keys and showed us to our room. We were very grateful to her and her hospitality. There was still no reception staff in the morning for check out. "

The staff were very helpful with a change of rooms and finding us secure parking on site. The location was perfect as we were one step from the Fasching. We will definitely be back! "
