"This was a last minute booking and my budget was small so my expectations were not very high. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the centre of Sanremo. If, like me, you are unfortunate enough to get a room close to the adjacent petrol station, you might find your room is not dark enough for an undisturbed sleep. The room is basic but clean. My mattress was very hard. The free breakfast is adequate but only one cup of coffee offered!
Overall, I am satisfied with my stay."

"Fantastic. Clearly this the the most modern and luxurious hotel in San Remo about 50 years ago. since then it has been well maintained, but not really modernised much. The food was fab, the pool great and the pool side bar/restaurant top class. Really top class, but a bit old fashioned - which is fine if you don't want the latest guff. "

"This is very spacious studio and it was incredibly clean. The AC got ice cold and we were able to sleep well here and use it as a base to explorer the Ligurian Coast. The apartment is a bit outside of Sanremo and on a hill, so walking anywhere is pretty tough. We had to always take the car to get anywhere. I would not recommend booking this without a car. Also it was pretty loud there with dogs barking at all times and the apartment underneath had a very nasty yard full of dog feces and smell was bothering us when sitting on the balcony. Overall this is a good base to explore the region, but car is a must."
