"The four of us, including our two sons who are in their early twenties, stayed for five nights in two rooms. The hotel managed to provide a twin room for the boys which was appreciated. The rooms were comfortable and the service was excellent. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar. The location was good for us, although it is at the top of a hill so staying there keeps you in shape."

The area is right on the water, so very convenient to shopping and dining. It felt very safe. There is a staff member at the door at all times, and they had great recommendations as to where to go and what to see. The shower was large and the water pressure was good (that's important to me). Overall a great place to stay, and our favorite place on our travels through Portugal."
