"Best Hotel in Porto. Do your homework on Porto. Most places are across the river in the crowded area. This hotel/a few others are tucked away in a quieter area But yet convenient to walking into the crowd. We loved it so much we asked to stay another night. Modern and roomie rooms. Great facilities. Friendly employees. Again, hands down this is the best hotel/deal/location to visit Porto! Thanks for an amazing visit!"

"Property was very new and extremely clean. Isabella was amazing checking us in and giving us directions and recommendations. Breakfast that was included was excellent as well as the complimentary cake served at 5:00 PM. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Porto. Close to Rivera area. "

"This was one of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed in. The rooms are spacious, the showers are fantastic and the beds are superb! The breakfast buffet rivals most hotels and the staff love being there. And, the location is close to numerous restaurants, port houses, and wineries, with a short walk across the bridge to the old city center."

"The location of the property is outstanding. The views of the historical city of Port and Douro River are mesmerizing and unforgettable, day or night. The service is impecable from the moment you enter the property, front desk personnel and very knowledgeable concierge staff. Young, pleasant and helpful staff all the way around. Our room, in the higher priced area of the hotel, is well appointed but dated in decor. Had to ask for a change of mattress and pillow top as it was lumpy on first night. it was changed for the better....That said, the room size was ample and so was the bathroom. Nice robes, slippers and lovely toiletries. Tired bathroom appliances (ie toilet seat, basin counters..BUT good shower, good water pressure). Impecable and very nice accommodating housekeeping staff. Turn down service as expected. To compete with a Four Season property, the rooms needs to be updated. The SPA was amazing. Great masseuses! top notch SPA facility. Indoor pool with amazing views of the city of Porto and Douro river. I would stay again at The Yeatman. I am hoping though the mattresses are updated at the very least. The Staff made up for the lacks described above. "
