"I am writing this cautionary review to inform potential guests about my deeply disappointing and misleading experience at this property. It is imperative for prospective customers to exercise extreme caution before making a reservation at Asante Sana Beach Cottages, the hotel's isolated location makes it unsuitable for families. Owner is only money Orientated and not customer focused. The property's advertisement on Expedia does not accurately represent the reality of the hotel. Upon arrival,...

"Staff was supportive and the property was perfect."

"This was a fantastic stay for us. We travelled 9 boys to Zanzibar with zero expectations. When we first got to the villa we were welcomed by a smiling and service-minded staff. At first sight, we were mind blowed by the villa. The view, the pool, the rooms, and the VIBE was remarkable. The villa is located close to nungwi and we had our own private taxi always waiting for us and ready to go whenever we needed. Also shoutout Aziz (the manager) for always being there and providing help 24/7. The...

"Great hotel, great staff, and great location! already recomended this hotel to friends and family!"

"Good location, friendly staff, nice pool and nature around. "

"The villa is beautifully arranged and has a somewhat jungle-like ambiance. The room, styled in an African theme, was tidy. The staff proved to be exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering advice on places to visit and assisting with taxi arrangements. Breakfast includes fruits, eggs, and coffee. The location is convenient as well. I would highly recommend this place."

"Ottima struttura per visitare e godersi la costa est di Zanzibar. Camere essenziali ma confortevoli, pulite e moderne. Staff super, Roberta e i colleghi ti fanno sentire davvero a casa. Il ristorante davvero ottimo sia per le colazioni sia per i pasti. Per chi cerca un’oasi di pace diversa dai classici resort (per vivere l’atmosfera di Zanzibar in modo più autentico) e della buona ospitalità (e cucina) italiana sicuramente è il posto giusto! Super consigliato! "
