10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful place to stay and we can’t recommend it highly enough. The owners met us upon arrival and were helpful and welcoming. The room was beautifully well presented, nice views and immaculately clean. The double jacuzzi bath and log fireplace a nice luxury and there was everything you could need during your stay. Even a little supermarket and an EV charging point nearby. We will definitely be back!!"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Fuentelespino De Haro?
Fuentelespino De Haro is a small, rural village, so the best area to stay is within the village itself. The village is compact, with its main square, Plaza Mayor, forming the heart of the community. You'll find the local church, the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, prominently located here, and most of the village's amenities, such as small shops and the local bar, are within easy walking distance. The streets are narrow and traditional, superb for a peaceful stroll.Couples looking for a quiet retreat will find the village an excellent choice. It offers a chance to experience authentic rural Spanish life, away from the hustle and bustle. You can enjoy long walks in the surrounding countryside and savour the tranquility.
When is the best time to go to Fuentelespino De Haro?
Fuentelespino De Haro is best visited during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months when the weather is most pleasant for exploring.During spring, the countryside around Fuentelespino De Haro bursts into bloom, making it a beautiful time for walking or cycling through the fields and vineyards. Temperatures are mild, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C, which is ideal for enjoying outdoor activities without the intensity of the summer heat. This season is particularly good for couples looking for a romantic escape amidst scenic landscapes.Autumn offers similarly agreeable temperatures, usually between 18°C and 28°C, and the landscape takes on rich, warm colours as the leaves change. This period is great for those interested in local culture and gastronomy, as it often coincides with harvest festivals in the surrounding Castilla region. Families might enjoy this time for gentle outdoor adventures and experiencing local traditions. While summer (July and August) brings plenty of sunshine, temperatures can often exceed 30°C, making midday exploration less comfortable. Winter (November to March) can be quite cold, with temperatures sometimes dropping below freezing, and some local services may have reduced hours.
