Sunny Spot is a remarkable Frisco beachfront home.The house has amazing views of the beach, ocean, and sound, and it has a reverse living design. direct access to the beach. There are two carports with ample parking. Two master suites. Visitors can relax at the breakfast bar or eat by the ocean. Cozy and well-kept Your entire family would love to take a holiday at The Sunny Spot. All guests need to bring linens, towels and paper products. The Sunny Spot has been equipped and decorated according to the owner's preferences. The following are provided: coffee maker, microwave, toaster, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, glasses, mattress pads, pillows, and blankets or comforters. There are fees for reservations, partial stays, taxes, and insurance.
In case of cancellation or change in any reservation, no refund will be made by Dolphin Realty or the owners we represent unless the unit is re-rented and confirmed by the newer reservation for the cancelled period. All cancellations and changes are subject to a $75.00 charge, reservation fee; Trip Cancellation and Travel Insurance premium, Property Protection and Credit Card Processing Fee if applicable. Please notify our office of any changes as soon as possible. No refunds will be issued due to lack of fish or inclement weather. The offered Trip Cancellation and Travel Insurance covers many unforeseen and emergency situations.

  • "Yin and Yang" I was at Cape Hatteras last month to try and capture a sight of one of our heavenly visitors in the night sky - Comet Catalina. The comet is somewhat unique since this would be it's only ever visit to the inner Solar System before being ejected to interstellar space forever. It was by no means an easy target to locate and photograph in the night sky especially for someone who's never done that before. But this is not about my attempts at capturing Comet Catalina (although I did manage to view and capture it). After I was done looking at the comet, I settled by the beach next to this pier, one of my favorite places on the North Carolina Outerbanks, to hear the ocean's mesmerizing soundtrack. I still had about 2 hours to go before sunrise and so I was just sitting and enjoying the unseasonably warm winter in December and just looking at the stars, Venus, Jupiter and Mars in the night sky. I suddenly noticed this big cloud about 5 minutes in streaking just below bright Venus. On a hunch, I decided to capture an image to see what the cloud looked like and a short 15 second later, I saw the start of what turned out to be one of the most perfect sunrises I have borne witness to. The cloud had started to just pick up the first rays from the sun, with about an hour and a half to go before sunrise. I love the juxtaposition of every single element in this image. The fading of the night sky and stars with Venus shining valiantly as the sun comes back to herald the start of another day, the stretch of unbroken cloud over the hurricane damaged pier and the sheer beauty created in an otherwise damaging act of Mother Nature (the hurricane, not the sunrise :) ). This duality is what inspired the title of the image. If you're near the NC coast, this location is a must stop. It is close to the town of Buxton and the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. OBX was Great; Won't Return to Same Home

The property was pretty much as described. I had a few issues with the hot tub being older and only two of the jets working; other annoyances are mostly COVID related with having to bring our own linens (unless that is a thing...) and toilet paper and paper towels. On the plus side the house was very well stocked with dishware and all the utensils for preparing meals. The outdoor shower was great as it allowed for us to keep a good majority of the mess outside the house. I booked somewhat last minute and had a different property booked out from underneath me while finalizing payment... I don't think the home was worth the cost considering the other property's available. I also found it kind of difficult to understand everything that came from the property management company. Besides them calling me to collect payment, everything felt very mechanical and automated -- which isn't always a bad thing and I certainly take ownership as I could have reached out to them... except whenever I would think about it it would be after 6PM or on a weekend when they were closed.
