The only problem was there was no lamp or light on the desk, so, I could not work in the room. I called the front desk, and , the receptionist said they are out of lamps. I had to work in the lobby. Also, I didn’t like having to work and make calls in the lobby.

We got stuck in the elevator, then the elevator would go up but not come down if the person did not send it down. If it was up a few floors, it would not come down if you pushed the button on the first floor. Not safe.

IT'S NOT THE BEST NEIGHBORHOOD, BUT OKAY FOR THE fRESNO/cLOVIS AREA. iMMEDIATELY OUTSIDE THE HOTEL IS SAFE, DOWN THE BLOCK IS ANOTHER STORY.

The propertybis located in a space not far from the mall, costco and other places. The place is clean and quiet. The continental breakfast is also very good.

I always book stays with the Hampton Inn because of the breakfast they have available. After I checked in for my stay from December 23rd to December 25th I was notified that they would not be serving breakfast on December 24th or 25th. While I appreciate them wanting to allow their staff time off for the holidays this was a big inconvenience for myself and my family and I feel like we should have been notified when booking, or at least offered some time of compensation for not having this “amenity” that was paid for. They could have offered some type of food options, muffins, fruit or something that the front desk could manage. I am very disappointed.

In general it was a quiet area, but a couple times we heard some dragsters. But the staff was very friendly and the hotel was convenient for the area.

Angry about the lack of timely confirmation
I could not find a confirmation for this stay. And I needed it to cancel before booking another hotel. I had to make the assumption that I did not actually manage to book the reservation the week before. And now I have a room that I booked that was to handle those delays, also through hotels.com. I had checked my travel activity and could not find the Hampton reservation. Looking at my email this morning, I finally saw the request for a review and of course that was too late. The lack of a confirmation email or any confirmation prevented me from canceling the room when I made the rest of my travel changes. All this due to the fact that I could not find the reservation in my activity file which led me to believe that I did not have a reservation and now have a payment that I should not be making. I'm not happy with hotels.com. Next time I'll book directly with hilton.

I have added a new category to my reviews of Pet Friendly hotels. There's pet friendly, pet tolerant and now pet exhorbitent. $75.00 per stay, but do they tell you beforehand? No. At check in. And what do you get? Nada. Even the single waste receptacle and waste bag station was so full of trash. Could hardly fit in my small doggie poop bag. No area to walk- just the parking lot. Otherwise- standard Hampton Inn- clean. Good breakfast. Nice room.

The people at every level are so kind and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable and very spacious. Breakfast was delicious and someone was always there to make sure it stayed neat and tidy. This is my second stay there and I will book again in future.

Toilet - poor plumbing had to move to another room, went to the pool area their was dead bugs and tree brie all around I had to clean the pool myself just to swim

Nice hotel except for the party in the room next door, we finally asked to be moved at 1:00am which the hotel kindly gave us another room. Just not really want we wanted to deal with at that time of night.

We got there around 1:15 pm they told us the room was going to be ready around 2:00 so they were going to call me, so we waited by the lobby and around 2:10 they were already giving rooms so we went back and noticed it they offered water snacks to the people ahead of us when they gave us our room they only offered water so I didn’t bother in complain, the room was very nice and clean
