"Nous étions réunis pour fêter un anniversaire. Le lieu est parfait pour cela (taille de la maison, jardin, situation, charme de la maison et du jardin). Nous avons également été très bien accueillis par les hôtes. Bref tout s'est très bien passé. 4 recommandations cependant : laisser des documentations sur le fonctionnement de l'électro-ménager, restaurer certaines salles de bain, changer le piano de cuisson et vérifier le soin accordé au ménage."

"Lovely gite in a quiet village with plenty to do nearby. The place has been renovated to a very high standard and has everything you could need."

Only "complaint" was that the water tank (which is above the toilet) continually made a dripping sound all day. Since this is next to the bedroom, it was annoying at night."

"Beautiful little gite in a very quiet, rural part of burgundy. Perfect for peace and quiet, but plenty to see and do within an hours drive. Gite was lovely and clean, with a well equipped kitchen. Geneviève and Laurent are lovely, and the perfect hosts. Thoroughly recommended."

"Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche im haus vom Roman. Es ist wie beschrieben und gut ausgerüstet für so viele Personen. Der grosse Park ist fantastisch , unsere Kinder (und die Hunde) konnte eine Woche lang spielen und toben. Wir genossen den Pool, und machten ausflüge nach Chablis, Troyes, Dijon und dem Chateau Tanlay. Im Kanal de Bourgogne. Wir haben diese Reihe sehr genossen und können uns vorstellen wieder zu kommen. "This hotel worked for us in that it was roughly halfway on our journey to the south of France. The staff were very friendly and helpful on check-in. The hotel itself is quite tired and needs some modernisation. Restaurant was not open the evening we were there but the Local town of Avallon had plenty of pleasant restaurants available. "

"Place is in a sorry condition, as soon as you hit the stairs you notice a weird stench, the building is old, I can hear the neighbors every time they walk around or flush the toilet. Not sure what was happening during my stay but there were doors being slammed repeatedly all afternoon. However, the place is equipped to accommodate cyclists and their bikes in the form of a dedicated secure storage space. For the price I would have expected the room to be better equipped and the place to be better maintained "

"We were very happy with the offering at this hotel, we were able to secure a room for Friday night on short notice. The staff were very friendly and we experienced the most efficient check in of any hotel. Very quick, no wasted effort, and a friendly exchange with the counter staff. After a change of shift overnight, the staff continued to be friendly and engaging with the customers. The room is as advertised, everything is comfortable and clean. Very acceptable level of quality, it is not fancy or boutique yet it is a very high value offering for the price point. We had the breakfast, that was as advertised with a good variety on offer, much more than a simple continental breakfast. I would return here again anytime. "
