"The hotel is nice but is a little different! The layout is confusing but I would totally stay again. The 2 bedroom suite was worth it! The pool was clean and big also. We used the little arcade and that was fun but some things weren’t working the best. All in all we would stay again price wise, convince of two bedrooms when you have kids and location!"

"The staff at Concierge, especially Hope, were excellent. I loved the little gift shop by Concierge which sold smaller pieces of Mackinac fudge as well as lilac soap. Breakfast was a buffet with an ocean view. The room was pretty and bright but the bathroom fixtures need to be changed. They have the old 70s style teardrop plastic knobs for the sink and shower which can get stuck and hard to move. The toilet and tub were inside a door with a sink outside which made it difficult for shaving since the steam didn't stay inside. The TV in the room we were in would not turn off - the staff came up and tried to fix it. I think it was a problem with the remote not communicating with the TV so we just ended up unplugging it. The location is a bit further set back from the road so there is less street noise which was excellent because we were here during the Classic Car Show weekend."

"beautiful lakefront view from our room and we were able to drive around and load our belongings easily from the patio door since we were on the ground floor, comfortable beds, nice hot tub and pool, breakfast was great, helpful staff"

"It is always hit or miss when traveling to remote places of the UP, this was a hit! Very easy to access your room through the automated system in the office, directions and information was all provided. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and location was just outside of Newberry (7min drive to downtown). Additionally, it being a roadside motel, it was awfully quiet, not much road noise or noise from other guests, and it was quite full. Overall it was a reliable stay, would definitely come back!"

"There was not a Do not disturb sign for the door. No worries. We were there for three days and no one ever checked to see if we needed anything. No phone in the room. It’s not a 5 Star but the price is reasonable. That being said the place is very nice. The room was very nice and clean. The beds very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. The veiw is awesome. We’ve stayed before and will stay again. Also there was a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker…"
