"Staying at this breezy home was so relaxing and comfortable, our family of six loved it. Being on the French side is perfect for those who want to explore beaches, restaurants and rest. Rooms were comfortable especially with air conditioning at night and the covered patio was great for dining, reading and enjoying the views. "We had a great stay at Madame Gochaye's rental, very clean and modern, the pool is fantastic for young kids and the deck is great for relaxing. "A fun and unique experience in Guadeloupe. We enjoyed the Creole style house with a view of the ocean and pool. We generally enjoyed the openness but, as others have said, you should bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper due to the evening noises from bugs, roosters, etc. Bug spray is helpful but the mosquito nets do a great job of keeping bugs away at night. "Very nice house, Very good pool and garden. We enjoyed it a lot. Had dinners mostly at the house.The navigation in the dark when we arrived was a bit of a challenge, but in the morning you enjoy the view and the breeze.Improvement would be to have mosquito screens on the windows, airco would then not be necessary."

"Anna's villa was perfect for our family's stay - parents, grandparents, and two grandkids. So spacious, clean, really nice pool and garden outdoor area, walled in from neighbors. And the location couldn't have been better: literally 4 min. walk to beautiful white sandy beach, and 4 min in the other direction to the village with shops, restaurants etc. Anna was one of the kindest and MOST responsive hosts we have ever had on VRBO; I feel like i had to chat her every day for one thing or another...

Points of concern, a fully stocked kitchen should have a chef’s knife, tongs, spatula and adult size cocktail glasses. Ice cube trays or ice would be appreciated.
