Apartments in French West Indies

"In the past I have rated two homes with 5 stars. These homes were well equipped, with 3 or 4 bedrooms, infinity pools, perched high on a cliff overlooking the ocean, at $200-$250 a night. I thought these homes offered exceptional value and deserved 5 stares. This apartment does not have these features and has some kitchen issues (see below) but at a rate of much less than $100 a night, it offers exceptional value deserving a 5 star rating. "We got off the ferry from Dominica after 10pm and were able to access the property via a key box. It was quiet and simple, with a comfy bed."

"Getting up the hill was tough in a small car but everything else was great, especially the hosts!"

"The property was difficult to find mostly because the roads in Guadeloupe are poorly marked. Brice was kind enough to meet us at a local tennis club and guide us the rest of the way. Our unit was clean and spacious. The driveway was quite steep but no problem for our little rented Renault. The house was super quiet and we got a beautiful nights sleep after our long day of traveling. We slept in and woke to a gorgeous view!"

"The apartment was in good condition but it was unexpected not to have windows (other than a shuttered one in the kitchen to the inner foyer area). And the listing clearly says microwave (there wasn’t one) and laundry facilities (there were but not for guest access). That last was a huge issue but with a lot of pressure we were given access to the washer/dryer. "

Logement ++ à recommander pour des personnes entièrement valides, car ascenseurs non fonctionnels et beaucoup d'escaliers ! "
