"We only needed somewhere for a night and the price was great. The guy at reception was friendly and he upgraded our cabin. The cabin was really nice. We did not expect much for the price we paid but were surprised at how good the place was. Electric blanket was another win for a winter night. So close to the shops or walk to the beach. Will definitely be locking this place in if we are back this way in the future."

"Absolutely great place to stay, just meters away from the beach. Staff were brilliant food and drinks were exceptional. in fact will be coming again in a couple of weeks and bringing several friend's down to stay and enjoy the the hotel. Recommend to any one heading to the Island."

"We have stayed here twice this year now. Once in January (peak summer weather), and now again in July (peak winter weather). Both stays were lovely, with everything we needed in the amazing Rose Sea Cottage. Kim’s communication is exceptional and she goes above and beyond to ensure a great stay! Very comfortable beds, pillows, bedding, comfy cosy furniture and all the comforts of home that you could hope for too. The house is gorgeous and located nice and close to Coronet Bay beach. Having our little Chihuahua welcomed too, with a comfortable deck area fitted out with dog bowls and everything we needed for our furry family member to have a great stay too. Thanks Kim! You’re amazing!"

"The property is well located, only a short walk to the beach and parklands. It is a great size for a family to spread out and has all the expected amenities. It was clean and well presented.We had an issue at check-in but it was quickly resolved by the property manager.Would definitely stay again!"

"Overall the property was lovely - homely, welcoming and comfortable. The area was quiet, with easy access to the beach. There were small touches that were disappointing, which were more reflective on the cleaning/management company than the building itself: * the downstairs bathroom light fitting had been removed, left in the vanity complete with dead insects, and had no light bulb. * the downstairs bathroom only had one small light above the mirror which worked.* the downstairs bedroom with bunks was missing a blind on the window - very concerning for the "childs" bedroom - which allowed people from the street to easily look in the window. * the bedside lamps were missing all light bulbs, and instead you were provided with a cheap clip on book light. * the roof above the fireplace leaked, and featured a metal bucket which you could not move - pity if you wanted to light the fire. * the dishwasher contained the previous residents dirty dishes."

"Would have been 5 stars if the property was clean. Unfortunately some areas were very dusty which affected my wife's allergies and there was no provision for cleaning equipment to let us vacuum etc. Our Expedia app message to the host requesting a vacuum apparently didn't get received until we left several days later, so a bit disappointed. It is a lovely property though and we hope to return in the future."
