bedsit by the Minster

This property is basically a bedsit, very close to the Minster. An excellent location with several cafes nearby and it is clean. There is a double bed, cupboards and a small table in the main space (with little room for anything else), a kitchen area and a bathroom / toilet. The tv and wi-fi work fine. The room is on the fourth floor and there is no lift so probably won't suit an American or anyone with a mountain of baggage. The people who let the room say they will be on site to meet you at a specific time and will charge if you're not there within 30 minutes. They didn't meet us - they just sent a text message with the door code which is fine. They're messages include a note of a potential cleaning fee (I don't think we were charged). They collect payment in advance.

Waren nur eine Nacht in Freiburg, sehr schöne Stadt. Das Appartement ist zentral gelegen, öffentliche Verkehrsmittel gut erreichbar. Parken eher schwierig.

ideale Lage

Die Veständigung mit Frau Prinz und Herrn Bagge war sehr schwierig, weil die Telefonnummern nicht korrekt angegeben sind. Frau Prinz konnte ich nur per e-mail erreichen, das ging vor Ort nicht mehr und Herrn Bagge nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten nur per sms. Deshalb entstand bei der Ankunft eine unnötige lange Wartezeit und Aufregung, weil ich ja nicht ohne Hilfe in die Wohnung kam. Die Frau der Gaststätte nebenan erzählte mir, dass immer wieder Urlauber lange auf die Begrüßung warten müssten. Schwierig war dann für mich,über die steile, schmale Treppe mit meinem für mich schweren Koffer ins vierte Stockwerk zu gelangen. Es fehlen Haken für Küchenhandtücher und Jacken. Die kleine gemütliche Wohnung müsste mal renoviert werden. Im Sommer ist es natürlich sehr warm unter dem Dach, daher ist der Ventilatur sehr angenehm und hilfreich. Das Waschbecken im Bad ist wegen der minimalen Größe sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Es ist wunderbar ruhig in der Wohnung.

Cute, traditional stay, good location, not hotel!

Not a hotel - more like an Airbnb. The room itself is cute and clean however the bathroom is mouldy. There is no lift so we dragged our suitcases up four flights of stairs and no reception so you can’t leave your case or get help when you need it. There is no sign out the front so it’s hard to know if you found the right place. However Tom, the man who came to greet us was kind. Fantastic area to stay in, perfect locations

Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Alles ist sauber und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Wir waren direkt in der Altstadt. Schön gelegen. Immer wieder gerne.

My only complaint is that there was no elevator, and we had 65 steps to climb to get to our fourth floor apartment. The lack of elevator should have been mentioned in the description.

Schönes Zimmer, direkt in der Altstadt.

Für unser Wochenendtripp genau das Richtige. Mitten in Herzen Freiburgs mit direktem Shoppingmögluchkeiten, Cafés, Bars, Restaurants, Vom Dachfenster aus ein toller Blick über die Dächer und kleinen Hinterhöfe Freiburgs. Verkehrsanbindung & dem Münster. Sehr gut zu empfehlen und im Fest im Kopf für einen neues Besuch von Freiburg.

Super Lage. Total zentral. Parkhaus ganz nah.

Das Zimmer liegt super zentral. Shopping wunderbar zu Fuss erreichbar. Parkhaus in der Nähe. Ruhiges Zimmer. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen. Vielen Dank für den netten Empfang.
