Charming 3 Bedroom Suite 200 steps to Beach, car available

  • FRANGIPANI HOUSE: Is located on a quiet cul de sac, just 200 steps to a beautiful beach. The suite has a private entrance, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen, living and dining area with a dedicated work space and a large elevated deck overlooking the garden.

    Rental car is available on property, most reasonable rates on island. Drivers must be at least 25 years old.

    There are two other guest suites on the property with a community washing machine, a private yard and community patio area.

    NOTE: We are located in Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, not Nassau (which is on a different island)

Great stay!!

This is a GRRRREAT place!! Comfy and clean! The owner is wonderful and helpful. Lots of things to do locally. You might need a car if you’re staying for a bit as taxis get expensive. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great stay!

It was a very refreshing time at the apartment. Jens was a great host and quite thoughtful. There was water provisions for a token, which was so helpful especially if you don't have a car to move around. The house was very well lit and ventilated with lot of windows. The air-conditioning also very effective when needed. My kids and I loved every bit of our stay and we would most definitely coming back.

Trip to enjoy festival

Our stay was excellent...From the outside seating to being withing a few short steps to the beach we couldn't ask for more. Closeness of the beach allowed us to effortlessly enjoy the morning sunrise and sunset. Will look to stay on future trips.

Great location, comfortable home!

We enjoyed the property immensely. It was a wonderful location, short walk to the beach, short drive to a grocery store, pizza, Wendy's and Port Lucaya Market. The house is beautiful. Jens, the caretaker is very helpful and always quickly responded to any needs we had. This was our first time in Freeport and we loved it. We will definitely return and stay at this holiday home again.

What Memories Are Made Of

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time. The unit had plenty of room for all of us and the beds were comfortable. Jens was very welcoming and communicative and was able to give us lots of recommendations - if only we had more time to explore! Amenities included beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, a small cooler, and inflatable tubes which were very nice to have. There was a friendly cat, Tuna, with which our kids were enamored. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off sand before entering the home. The kitchen had the basics one would need to make meals in which we did a lot. The grill was also nice to use. The nearby grocery store, Solomon's had most of what we would find in the United States, but as Jens pointed out, the prices are high. The local beach is a short walk away and beautiful. Our family had a blast interacting with dolphins at Sanctuary Bay. Gold Rock Beach was breathtaking. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay.
