About this property
Beautiful farmhouse with hiking trails/kayaking. 5 minutes to town or ocean!
- The Guest House at Tripping Gnome Farm is a light-filled and airy space featuring 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a large open living area with a gas fireplace. A former barn renovated in 2022, the house is situated on our working organic farm and has access to several miles of hiking trails from the backyard. Guests here also have access to kayaks that they can use to navigate Kelsey Brook, which leads to the Haraseeket River. A fire-pit provides a cozy gathering spot for guests as well. Our quiet and idyllic farm property is located only 5 minutes from downtown Freeport, home of the L.L. Bean flagship store as well as a multitude of other outlet stores to satisfy everyone's shopping needs. Equidistant to the farm is Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park, filled with oceanside hiking trails, as well as Wolfe's Neck Center for Agriculture & the Environment, a sustainable dairy farm which hosts educational and community programs.
