"This property is a unique gem set in beautiful green parkland and overlooking a serene lake. Entering along its winding drive makes you feel as though you are coming home to your very own country house. Inside the rooms are large, light and comfortable, and there is a fabulous view from every window. We felt very much at home immediately and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house is well-equipped with everything you need to create a home-from-home and help you to settle in quickly. Tabitha is very friendly and welcoming and always very responsive to any requests or queries. Lovely hosts in a fantastic part of the world. We will be back! "

"The hotel has a stately feel, with dark woods throughout. The carpeted floors are clean and the decor is classy , incorporating Irish culture and history. Service and food at the on site restaurant were fantastic which makes it easier at the end of a long day, rather than having to go out again for a dinner meal. We loved our stay!"

"What a find! Such a comfortable, clean, well equipped and beautifully situated house, in the middle of the Cork countryside, near lots of scenic attractions. Mariza is a 5 star host, welcoming us with tasty bakes and fresh milk and really easy to communicate with - no long waits for an answer. "We had the best time! We used this as a home base to be able to travel around to all the sites in the central and southern parts of the country. A few hiccups figuring out the hot water but the host was right on things getting back to me immediately. We loved the pubs here, OKellehers and Healy's and met some locals that we hope to remain friends with...absolutely wonderful time and the house was spacious and clean. "
