Amenities of the cottage include a full kitchen with a Keurig coffee machine and wine bar, a full bath with walk-in shower, king beds, smart TV, and a private patio with ample outdoor seating, plus an arbor swing! Located in the heart of Fredericksburg, the peace and quiet afforded to guests at this property are unmatched. Spend the day on the town, then return to the chalet in the evening and enjoy the full kitchen and wine bar, perfect for a glass (or two!) in the spacious backyard. Quiet, charming, and convenient, all the necessities for a romantic getaway.

Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Raccoons, Squirrels, Possum, Birds (including Hawks), ETC). Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night, and supervise your children at all times while they are outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible. This includes but is not limited to: ants, snakes, spiders, scorpions, beetles/roaches/water-bugs, mice, or flies.
- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

Beautiful place
Artist Chalet was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the lovely, manicured lawn and outside area with rockers and a swing. It was so peaceful, and the hostess was charming!

Fredericksburg Getaway
My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay at the Artist Chalet. It was extremely clean, neat with exquisite decor. It was also well stocked with drinks and snacks. Very nice sitting area in the front, which we enjoyed, since we had perfect weather. We would definitely stay at this location again and highly recommend if you want a quaint getaway.

Peaceful retreat
We stayed in this chalet for our Anniversary weekend. It was the sweetest place, beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home you may need. Plenty of snacks and drinks too. Owner is lovely and just made sure we got in ok.

Wonderful Weekend
The Artist's Chalet was wonderful. It was exactly as pictured and described plus so much more. The host went above and beyond to make our stay a great experience from snacks and cereal in a basket to beverages in the refrigerator to artfully arranged towels on the bed and in the bathroom. We truly felt pampered. Would definitely recommend this property when staying in Fredericksburg. Very close to town but in a quiet neighborhood.

WONDERFUL chalet!!
This quaint chalet guest house was stunning. I didn’t really look at the pictures when I booked it, and I’m pretty happy I didn’t, as this was a VERY pleasant surprise. Clean, decorated for Christmas, well-kept. The owner was sweet. The location was quiet, yet conveniently located. Absolutely enjoyed our stay, and we were sad to go.

A nice clean, quiet cottage. Just fit the bill for what we were expecting. Close to the Main Street action but far enough to be able to relax in peace. Wife and I had an enjoyable stay and would stay again if the opportunity arises. A+

Simply the best
This place was the best! It was absolutely perfect for a get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. After a long day of shopping and wine sipping, it was wonderful place to retreat back to for relaxation and recuperation. Very comfortable bed and seating area. Shower was amazing!
