"Incredible views of the Allegheny river. Lovely historic property!! Great food at the restaurant, and was very fun to rent bikes on-site! Special mention to John, who took my son fishing (they are ramping up boat and fishing experiences) just because he loves to fish, with no expectation of compensation. Wonderful people. I am hoping Foxburg does not grow too much such that it would lose this quiet charm."

"Elk Street Retreat was everything it was advertised to be.. The house was fantastic: kitchen was well apportioned - maybe the best of all the VRBOs we've stayed at over the past 5 - 6 years. Beds were super comfortable, plenty of bath towels and bath accessories. We were one block away from the main part of town - but you'd never know it when hanging out on the deck or back yard..We especially liked the multiple times a day visit from an adorable white cat we nicknamed Frankie. We would love to return for another 3-day weekend next year if Sarah will have us."
