From the moment I walked in the lobby, the staff was top notch. Very friendly, greeted me with a glass of juice and checked in with ease. Took me to the elevator and escorted me to my room. I appreciated that since I was a senior lady traveling alone

The hotel is just fine. It is five minutes from the Hauptbahnhof and about a 15 minute walk from the Romer area and is near the river. People we nice and the room as just fine. It is a standard American hotel room, so functional but nothing special. Note breakfast price is outrageous.

Room and staff were great, great atmosphere in Bar / Restaurant at night!!! Once you step outside the hotel and turn towards the Train Station- that’s when you realize it is unsafe area. Turn Left from Hotel Lobby and area is Fine.

Staff was superb. However the room was absolutely freezing. The heating was useless mostly blowing out what felt like cold air during my stay in Nov. the ceilings are very high and the AC unit was at the absolute top. I would go to bee wrapped up in a sweater and robe with two blankets and still got sick during my two night stay.

The staff was very accommodating upon our arrival. I had messed up the reservation and they were able to work with me to make it right. On top of that they gave us a free room upgrade and breakfast. Could not have asked for more from the registration desk. Thank you! Expedia - You disappoint me in the lack of ability to reschedule my original reservation on my phone.

We liked the proximity to the train station. We liked that our Viator tour picked us up at the front door. We did not like the general area, feeling somewhat unsafe.

Property is surrounded by homeless people and after 7pm, it is simply not safe to walk. Housekeeping is terrible. I asked for change of sheets and they told me housekeeping is closed and handed me to change my own sheets. This is not what i except for a 350 dollar a night hotel. They also lost my laundry and hotel manager could care less that i was leaving at 5.30am following morning. Not a pleasant experience at what should of been a care free stay.

The hotel itself and the staff were great. For the room, the shower design wasn't great. It always flooded the floor. Also, the air conditioning worked, but it wasn't great. I did my research before booking, and I learned that there were some streets to avoid near the train station. I learned that there were many more streets to be avoided! Try to avoid anything north of the hotel. Everything south of the hotel and along the river walk was nice.

The room was excellent and the breakfast buffet outstanding. While the restaurant is good, it is terribly noisy. My only serious complaint is the low level of lighting, notably in the rooms, which is inadequate and despite multiple requests for brighter bulbs (they are 5.5 watt), nothing was done. The entrance, too, is surprisingly dark.

I have stayed at this hotel over 10 times. The hotel and service is always very good. The location next to the main train station is very convenient. The general area has a lot of construction going on and this stay was very noisy starting at 6am.

Property was adequate. Check in staff and front desk management was completely incompetent. That incompetence led to them attempting to over charge me 70 euros. Provided my with a false record of the amount I paid at check in and then charged my card again after I pointed out the error. Pathetic. They should not be allowed access to anyones credit card, if they are not capable of keeping accurate records of their transactions.
