Convenient location. Good service. Clean as it can be for the price. I stayed here in February and when i arrived i got room temperature, however i was freezing at night, I wonder if its central heating even it is pretty old hotel. When you exit the hotel on the right site you will see homeless people sleeping (saw them twice at 10pm and 7am). I woke up early because of the noice that wasn’t stopping for like 30 minutes straight. I would stay here again because of the convenient location, fast service, cheap rate.

Super friendly and helpful front desk personnel!
I arrived in the morning and I knew I had to wait until check in time at around 2:00 pm. But the receptionist told me as soon as my room was vacated and cleaned that I could proceed to my room as early as 11:00 am. He was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Thank you very much!

Bed bugs everywhere!!!
The hotel room was riddled with bed bugs. I couldn't sleep at all, and my back was eaten alive by the bugs. Hotel reception said they couldn't do anything because they were fully booked. In the morning, I checked out and found another hotel, and the the hotel staff assured my money would be refunded, but they never did so and don't answer e-mail.
Be prepared to share your bed with hundreds of huge bed bugs!

Clean comfortable and five star location in the old city near the Rhine. Perfect for exploring Frankfurt on my 24h layover. Fantastic breakfast. Would definitely stay again

The room was a bit tatty, but it sufficed. We could not get ice in the evening. One of the front desk staff (the overnight person) was ... less interested in his clients than he ought to have been. I would not deem it a three-star hotel.

Location is totally walkable with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff was good. When I checked in, the sink was broken so they put me in a different room that was not as nice as the first.

The rooms are much smaller than in the picture, the decor is straight out of 1976. This hotel would be 5 star if it was in downtown Mogadishu, but for the heart of old town Frankfurt, it is way way below par. We didn't stay there. We walked in and walked back out again. It cost me a nights stay, but we found a much nicer place a short walk away, for almost the same price.

I got the two twin bed room which the beds were together. The problem is these beds have wheels and the beds would constantly move apart and slide. Next time I will just get one bed. I’ve stayed here multiple times and like the price, the AC in the rooms, and it’s convenient. Would stay here again.

Perfect location next to the old town and 6 minutes walk from the train that goes to the airport. Feels much safer than the area around the train station where a lot of other hotels are, plus it’s closer to the main attractions of Frankfurt

Great location that is steps from Bartholomew's Cathedral right in the Altstadt. Hotel is dated and has little in the way of amenities but for the price that is to be expected. Staff were great and place was clean. Highly recommend if you are visiting Frankfurt to see the sights and just need a basic hotel to stay at in between seeing the many things that Frankfurt has to offer.

Horrible and terrible stay after many years of traveling. No air conditioning, no customer service, sink not drain, very noisy, very small room even double occupancy, safe not work, fridge not work, no ice on top of the air conditioning. Don’t go there for summer maybe for the winter.

Air conditioning was not working and the room we were given was much hotter that even the hotel corridors. Very miserable. Terrible night. They would not move us saying they were fully booked. The next morning, they also claimed we could not be moved so we checked out early to find a sleepable room at another hotel nearby. So glad we did. Found a place 100x better for $25 more. Hotel Schopenhauer Hof.

Location is fantastic for sightseeing but be prepared for very small (but well decorated) rooms and no air conditioning (and limited air circulaion in courtyard facing rooms). And it is hard to beat the price

Our stay here was one of the best values we had in Germany. The good: Location is excellent and walkable to many sights and public transit. Staff friendly and helpful - we were able to check in over an hour early, and they hold baggage. Bathroom was a decent size and room contained helpful amenities that not all German hotels do (kettle with tea/instant coffee, shower gel/shampoo, minifridge). AC wasn't high-powered, but made the room cool enough to sleep with closed windows in early June. Two types of pillows (smaller and larger continental style). Limitations: The rooms were likely designed for business travelers in the 80s/90s, and the decor shows this. Didn't matter to us, but might to some. We had what seemed to be a larger room (listed as for business travelers) on the front of the building. There was some streetnoise despite good windows (first floor), but the noise machine we brought helped out. Inner rooms seem smaller but might be quieter. Bed was not the most comfortable (older spring mattress) but worked. Overall: If you need a place to spend a night or two in Frankfurt, and are ok with an older hotel, this option cannot be beat for the price.

If you are needing a stay in Frankfurt that is close to airport and train station, to the old and newer shopping district, this place is perfect. Reasonably priced, nice helpful people, clean and convenient to walk. Would go back on future trips

Perfect spot to explore New Old Town.
Fantastic location around the corner from Römer and the river and a two minute walk the other way to the Zeil. The room is small, but clean and comfortable

Perfectly located right near the historic city center, with many cafes, shops, and museums within walking distance. Hotel decor was a bit dated but otherwise clean, spacious, and with good amenities. Staff were professional and went out of their way to attend to my needs. Definitely recommend this spot!
