"What a beautiful hotel! On my list of best things about Frankenmuth, this hotel is in my top two! (The clock shop ranks #1!) The hotel is located amongst all the shops so you can walk everywhere. The river view is so relaxing after a day of shopping. The balcony and chairs make watching the ducks and riverboat floating by a joy. It’s a quiet, calm environment. The beds and pillows are comfortable, definitely a super plus. The fridge keeps everything at the perfect temperature for enjoying later. The room was quite clean. Underground parking keeps your car cool, away from the hot sun, and the elevator is right there so easy access to your room after a day of shopping. Breakfast was very good and filling. There’s a wide variety of breakfast items and everything was held at the correct temperature. The two women overseeing the breakfast area were welcoming and made sure everyone had all they needed. The only slight problem we had during our three-day stay was with the receptionist at the front desk. She wasn’t rude, but clearly was uptight we had requested, and paid extra for, an early arrival. The information was in the computer so the staff member who originally filled my booking request diligently entered the correct information for the early arrival. In case you’re wondering we asked for room access at 10:00 a.m. Unfortunately I’m not a world traveler, but I’ve been to a few places, and the Marv Herzog Hotel is my new favorite! I’m looking forward to returning soon!"
