Ephraim Motel

"Very friendly staff."
Scandi-inspired Loft - Historic - Waterfront - Pet Friendly - Open year around
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at the Arbor Cottage Loft in Ephraim was an absolute dream! The loft was decorated so beautifully, and the location was perfect with so many sights and restaurants nearby within walking distance. The waterfront property was gorgeous, and we loved spending time there watching the boats and enjoying the sunsets. Brad and Amy are so kind and friendly, and were so helpful with tips about the area and any additional questions that we had. This was our first trip to Door County, and it won’t be our last! We highly recommend Arbor Cottage Loft - 5 stars!!!"

Waterbury Inn

"Kitchen stove/microwave could use an upgrade! Burner in back was loose, microwave turntable was not lined up even after 4 times of trying to correct it. Plastic cups would be a nice addition -- safer instead of glass."
Pine Grove Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Very lovely place! Clean, good-sized rooms with a balcony and table/chairs. Nice breakfast. Access to private beach and pier with seating and fire tables. Friendly staff. A great location! Would definitely stay here again!"
Door County Romantic Cabin in Ephraim Near Trails
10/10 Excellent
"The cabin is almost hidden, wedged between larger houses and tucked into a hill where Highway 42 meets Moravia Street. Total parking capacity is one small car. As you walk down the sloping path and a few stairs to the front door, the road just behind you disappears from view. Inside, it’s quaint and quirky and a pleasant place to stop between adventures. One of those adventures is just down the road. Ephraim Preserve (Anderson Pond) features a variety of flora. Both loops of the trail are interesting, with several changes in terrain. Likewise, nearby Peninsula State Park has a stunning view from Eagle Tower and scenic trails that took us through several mini-biomes, from high on the ridge down to the lakeshore and back. In town, we tried the Old Post Office restaurant for a fish boil, the Chef’s Hat for breakfast, Prince of Pierogi for dinner and Good Egg for breakfast to go on our last morning. All were tasty and provided good value. Also, the Ephraim shoreline makes a lovely walk at sunset. Back at the cabin, the kitchen was well-enough equipped that we could prepare a couple meals, and the water hot enough for satisfying showers and shaves. The back deck made a pleasant place for morning coffee. Ephraim is a quiet little town, and despite being right on the main drag, this is a quiet little place to stay. p.s. We never got around to trying the kayaks or bikes; there was so much else to do. Next time!"
Unequaled Location next to Wilsons Ice Cream Parlor on Ephraim's Harbor and dock
10/10 Excellent
"This property is stunning, beautifully decorated and generously supplied with everything you need for a great stay. The owners are lovely people, communicate quickly and solve concerns asap. We enjoyed our 3-week stay so much, we’ve already reserved a return for next summer. Thank you for helping us have a wonderful family reunion and deeply relaxing vacation!"
Groups! HotTub! Huge Yard! Bikes/Kayaks/Games!
10/10 Excellent
"This is the 2nd time we have stayed on the property. Our family reunion included 16 people, all adults ranging in ages from 23-75. Everyone was able to have their own room. We were all able to gather in the house for meals where the table was large enough for all of us. Emily responded to my questions/concerns very quickly. She was very pleasant to work with. Since we were there 2 years ago the bathrooms had been renovated and a hot tub added. The hot tub was very well maintained. The large private backyard with fire circle was very pleasant. We had several campfires. I highly recommend this property."
Bay Breeze Resort
8/10 Good
"Great property with a pool and private beach access. My only complaint would be the AC unit in our room wasn’t functioning properly and made it a little difficult for me to sleep. My wife was fine though so it might be more of a “me problem” than a “room problem”"
