Charming beachfront cottage in Point Peninsula

"Wonderful spot to relax, play, and crash after exploring the upper lake and 1000 islands region. The kids loved playing in the water in the morning and at the end of the day. if they were a bit older the kayaks would have been great. The lake was mostly too choppy for us to take out our own paddle boards with the kids on board. But there was more than enough to see and do in the area besides. Lots of local farms to get fresh produce and some baked goods too. We were disappointed that there weren’t any fresh fish markets in the area (we don’t fish ourselves), but the area seems to be managing there fish stocks well for those who do fish."

"Very nice waterfront house. Definitely the nicest on the street. House was clean and well stocked. Dexter is a quiet quaint little town , perfect for quiet and relaxing. We went to small mouth bass fish on Lake Ontario and it was wonderful!! The host was very friendly and easy to get a hold of."

Quiet Village Home Where the Lake Meets the River

"We had a great time here. We brought our boat and fished the st Lawrence in the morning and wrestled in the afternoon. The public boat launch was close by and super convenient. The house is located in a very quiet area which was useful but close enough to areas with activities to keep the teens busy. We would rent here again."

"We enjoyed our week at the Lake House on Pillar Point very much. The sunsets were fantastic and meetings with family and friends that lived close were throughly enjoyable events. Great weather all weekend long and we went up fishing several times "

"What a charming guesthouse! We would Highly recommend this VRBO and the location. Sits just outside the village of Sackets Harbor, short drives to Clayton, Alexandria Bay, Henderson Harbor and Watertown. We especially loved sitting by the water enjoying dinner every single night! Many restaurants to choose from! Our host, Sharon was the sweetest and very accommodating. Her guesthouse is so welcoming and comfortable! I would rate our getaway a 10! Uncle Sam's boat tour - put it on your list! Bella's and Wise Guys restaurant - put them on your list also!!"

"This was our 3rd week long stay at Quaker Cottage. A wonderful family place, great waterfront and large lawn area, family friendly fire pit area and great place to swim and paddle. Highly recommended, we will be back!"
