"We decided to have a weekend trip before the school year started and this could not have gone better. The property was well maintained and had the most beautiful of the sunsets over the lake. Small and cozy, slept all 4 of us comfortably and the location was great."

"The cottage was super clean & comfortable & we loved the decor. Really appreciated that it was dogfriendly & host provided dog towels,bowls, toys & dog bags. Cute kitchen w/everything we needed. Loved front porch. Great location right across street from lake near where the 3.5 mile bike/walking path was- great place to walk pup & see lots of wildlife.loved that cottage was close to coffeeshop, restaurants etc"

"Our stay exceeded expectations! In fact it was declared ‘the best vacation ever’ by many. It’s truly a unique property. Telling friends we had rented ‘an island’ was fun & having an entire island to ourselves was fabulous. We had 3 generations with 8 children ages 1-13. My son’s family with the 1 & 3 year olds stayed in the little house. The littles were in bed by 7 but a baby monitor (that they brought) transmitted easily to the main house allowing an evening of fun with no worry about noise! This was very unique - different from the large single houses we have rented previous summers.The island’s perimeter is very natural (stones and vegetation) - providing good fishing spots and a wonderful ‘fence’ to keep the younger ones away from the water’s edge. The spacious yard provided room for many family yard games. The lakeside deck with comfortable & functional tables & chairs became a popular gathering spot! The house is beautiful inside with an island large enough for family meals & grandchildren’s craft time. The kitchen was well equipped & 2 dishwashers and 2 washer/dryers were appreciated. A unique feature was the firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs. Nightly campfires & a breakfast cooked over the fire were amazing - a combination of modern convenience and being a part of nature. Lake activities were a delight - tubing and sunset cruises! We rented a pontoon from Spend-a-Day who kept a slip for our mainland trips. Overall a memorable week!!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! We loved that the house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and comfortably accommodated our party of 6. Even more guests could have fit comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked, the communication from the host was top notch. We had one glitch at check in, but it was promptly and effectively remedied by the host. We also loved the location-we were able to dock our boat rental right in the back yard for quick, easy access to the lake every day. We loved this getaway and plan to book the same place again soon."

"Great stay at this cozy little house! Perfect for our short one-night stay. Beds were very comfortable. There is only one HVAC unit for the living room, and no doors on the bedrooms to let the air can circulate."

"Wondeful weekend getaway with my kids. Im a divorced mom with 3 little ones trying to get the most out of my money. Indian Lake and this beautiful cottage didnt disappoint! The wide open floor plan was perfect for my family. The kids loved exploring the cute, quiet, neighborhood, located very close to many attractions. We experience some rain over the weekend that kept up inside some, but with the Nintendo, board games and puzzles the kids didnt complain. Our host was very friendly and very quick to respond to questions. The house was clean (I clean bnbs for a living). I was impressed with the details and beautiful lake decor!! The music festival we planned to attend was canceled due to weather but we found so many other attractions to make our stay full oa success. Thank you host, cleaner, and indian lake neighbors for a memorable weekend for my family! We're already planning to return next summer, and stay longer!!!"
