"Rooms smelled like smoke, bathroom was not clean - one of our rooms had a broken faucet and leaky toilet. Checking in was weird, staff didn't give me a key or tell me the room number just the floor and when I got there another staff told a local man what room, no wifi code etc. Later on I went back to the front desk the staff was helpful though. But since there was a holiday the restaurant incl. room service was unavailable with little eating options nearby."

"Great location. Excellent views. Rooms are spacious. Dining options are excellent. Staff is good but a bit cold in their ways (probably cultural). In my opinion, the best place to stay in Ulaan."
"The staff was phenomenal. They treated us like royalty. Facilities we're great. And the food at KK (on prop restaurant) was fantastic. Highly recommend."
"An old soviet era hotel which has been well renovated. Right in the city centre, reception staff speak good English and arranged airport transfers and tours at a reasonable price.
Large, comfortable room. Good range of food for breakfast, dinner quality is more variable but excellent Chinese restaurant as well"
"Excellent location and service. The room was small and didn’t have space to open our luggages. It’s 12 mins walk to Gandantegchinlen Monastery. Hotel staff got us a taxi to the Winter Palace of Bogd Khan, Last Emperor of Mongolia. We had a nice time. Thank you. "
"The property is a sorry excuse for a hotel. Dont even go near the place. The staff is not friendly and the condition of the hotel is terrible. It is unsafe and unhygienic and it should be unfit for any human to stay in. There is no air con or fan or any ventilation. The smell in the room is stale and musty. There is mold growing everywhere in the room and bathroom. I stayed one night and could not stay any further. The staff is rude and didnt give any refund or credit. Even breathing in the room was heavy. The bathroom was the worst I have encountered in my life. Mold everywhere. No elevator and stairs are very narrow and difficult to carry luggage up. I have attached relevant photos to supplement by experience. Do not stay here at all even if its your last resort. STAY AWAY."
