Chesapeake Beach Resort

"We had a wonderful stay! The breakfast was exceptional, and the rooms were beautiful, spacious, and very fresh and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and professional. Unfortunately, I cannot give the hotel five stars because both swimming pools were very dirty and had visible mold. It is truly a shame, because everything else about the hotel was excellent. With better cleaning and maintenance of the pool areas, this hotel would easily deserve five stars."

"Stayed in build 7 and it had a great view restaurant was good the bars where nice and most of all I booked a fishing trip with Whiskey Throttle guide service and Sean put me on a dinosaur of a tarpon and boy was it a beast. If the fishing is slow grab Whiskey Throttle for a great water adventures."

"Great location in Islamorada. Close to a lot of attractions and restaurants. Day trip to Key West was a very manageable 2hours. We rented a nice open fisherman boat nearby a couple of days in our week stay.Anglers is family oriented. Many young children enjoying fishing, boating and swimming in the community pool."

"Booking very simple. Communication with owner Shani, was clear and responsive. Getting in to property and passing thru property gate was a bit confusing on arrival. Contacted property manager JP, who graciously came to house to clear up our question. House was clean and well stocked. Plenty of bath and beach towels. Very comfortable, beautiful beach front views and activities. Comfortable for our family of 8. Planning our return. Great vacation home."

"Boat dock facilities were in poor condition. Beach was inaccessible due to accumulated sea weed. Sulfur smell from rotting sea weed was intense. Buildings and surrounding grounds were as advertised, and above average. Ocean views were exceptional. Overall a positive experience."

"The house was perfect for two couples. It was clean and decorated beautifully. We had our morning coffee on the deck and wine at night. The kitchen was well appointed. The pool and grounds were immaculate. Communication with the owner was fabulous! Great stay! Hope to be back!"
