"Clean and tidy and had all I needed for my stay. Close to Morrisons which was useful and only a 15 min drive to where I was working. My flat was at the front overlooking the road which is a bit noisy during the day and evening so I had the front windows closed and it was quiet enough at night for me to sleep. The towels are ok but would prefer bath sheets or larger towels than those on offer. I will certainly look to using this place again as I frequently work on Canvey island."

Several things were not available and what was served was just okay. The front desk staff are superior and they were very helpful with any questions we asked. "This is a nice hotel but has one major drawback for disabled guests. The breakfast room is on the first floor of an annex attached to the hotel which has no lift access. We were told there were about 20 stairs to climb, which was impossible for my disabled partner to negotiate. To combat this a very helpful member of staff brought us down everything we required into the bar area. We were also offered the choice of having breakfast served in our room without a tray charge. However, as this is a buffet breakfast, I would have preferred to have been able to sit in the breakfast room and see exactly what was on offer. Other than that (and the £12 parking charge) we were happy with the standard of food served, the level of customer service and the hotel itself."
