"The house was the perfect size and location for four adults. We had amazing views from the deck; ate dinner out there almost every night. Dave; our host could not have been any better. He was there if we needed anything even escorted us to house from airport so we wouldn’t get lost. This house is perfect location; quiet area but close enough to everything you want to see. Turtles popping up in front of house every day. Loved it "

"We had a wonderful stay at Lancewell House Villa! The home was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our group of nine. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The property manager was exceptional—professional, friendly, and incredibly responsive via WhatsApp and Vrbo. They provided a welcome packet with recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities, which we found extremely helpful in planning our trip. One thing to note is that while we loved the villa’s private and peaceful location on the more remote side of the island, it’s important to plan for transportation if you’re doing activities further out. Taxis primarily operate on a cash basis, but they do accept USD, so there’s no need to worry about exchanging currency. The property also has a recommended taxi driver, Chester, whose contact information is in the welcome book. He was professional, reliable, and made getting around easy. Overall, Lancewell House is just as beautiful as pictured, and we truly enjoyed our stay. If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-managed, and private getaway in Barbados, this is a fantastic choice! Would highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!"
