About this property

Sunset Hill by Tiny Away

  • Summary:

Welcome to Sunset Hill — a cozy hillside escape where golden skies and beautiful surrounds set the scene for a relaxing getaway. Meet Margaret, our resident sheep, who may wander by for a pat and a tasty treat.

Whether you’re enjoying a morning coffee overlooking the hills or curling up with a good book, our tiny house invites you to slow down and unwind. It’s perfect for those seeking peaceful holiday homes surrounded by nature. #HolidayHomes #TinyHouseVictoria

    The Space:

Sunset Hill by Tiny Away is perched high in Foster North, just two hours from Melbourne. This tiny house offers sweeping views over rolling hills bathed in golden light at dusk and looks out toward the distant peaks of Wilsons Promontory. It also sits close to local highlights such as Walkerville Beach, Agnes Falls, and the Port Welshpool Long Jetty.

Here, days unfold gently. Start your morning with coffee as mist drifts through the valley, then settle in with a book under soft daylight, or later, wind down with a quiet glass of wine as the sky comes alive with color. Along the way, chooks roam the grounds, friendly dogs may stop by to say hello, and nature sets the rhythm—calm, grounded, and effortlessly inviting.

This 139-square-foot tiny home includes water access, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include and eco-firendly cassette toilet, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.

    Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the tiny home and the open area surrounding it. Please note that the fenced section near the tiny home, paddock, and private residence are not accessible.

    - Espresso pod coffee machine available, with coffee pods provided.

    - You may even come across the resident sheep Margaret along with the 6 goats: Arthur, Uther, Fern, Clover, Billie-Joe and the littest member Merlin who all love Weetbix as a special treat.

    The Neighborhood:

Sunset Hill by Tiny Away is just two hours from Melbourne, set in the Foster North region. The area features rolling farmland, fresh coastal air, and small-town warmth. A short drive takes you to Wilsons Promontory, known for its wild beaches and walking trails, or to Walkerville Beach for a classic “Walky burger” and a swim.

Visit Agnes Falls for a peaceful bush walk or a picnic by the cascading water. In town, Foster offers everyday essentials with a friendly smile — from the IGA and FoodWorks on Main Street to hot chocolates at Bohnnys Café and hearty pub meals at the Foster Hotel.

For a relaxed evening, try Trulli’s Pizza or share plates at Mahob at Moo’s in nearby Meeniyan. Local flavor continues at Gurneys Cidery, where everything centers on Gippsland produce and good company. It’s a region that feels genuine in nature, good food, and community spirit.
