"Wanted a place to stay for a few days in Faro, couldn’t have picked a better place. Went for the upgraded room with balcony and whirlpool bath and no regrets, perfect room, very quiet and comfy. Staff were very friendly (thank you Pedro) and felt like a home away from home for a few days, just comfy and clean. Only a few minutes walk from the city center. Would happily return. "

Margarita at the front desk was very helpful. She encouraged me to schedule/reserve an Uber since we needed to leave at 4am. Said it is more reliable for the early hour rides.
It is very close to the airport which is why I gave the area around RFGH a 3star. You can WALK to the airport through the neighborhood. We didn't walk and wished we had, but we didn't know about safety and street lighting at 4am when we had to leave for our flight. Even though the airport is a 5 min drive away, our room was quiet.
RFGH is not close to the city center, but it's a short Uber ride.
Expedia website says that taxes and mandatory fees are included. FYI, I had to pay local tax (4 euros) at check-in.
