"The tub was leaking and could not be turned off. The bathroom door did not close all the way. The carpet was dirty and not cleaned. The bed did not have a fitted sheet on it, only a top sheet. There were not enough towels in the room, and the towels were closer in size to hand towels, then bath towels. The continental breakfast was missing a few continents. It was waffles and cereal."

"It was opening night of the restaurant on the property and the staff of the hotel and restaurant we're very friendly and attentive. The book store in town is very cool and open late so i was there for few hours. It was a spontaneous stop to rest and the amenities of the hotel made it so much better than the chain hotels off the interstate. Elks properties are amazing and its great to see this one well loved "

"Hotel is a bit run down, but it’s clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast is decent. Mostly just quick eats (cereal, waffles, toast, bagels, etc.). "

"I’m honestly disappointed. We paid a great deal of money for a room with a king bed and it was a lot of money for what I truly feel was a 3 star experience. The bathroom floor and tub were not very clean and the place feels old and worn out. If they’re going to charge high rates they’d better update. Also, what’s with the short squatty potties?! People are not that short anymore in this country. I can’t believe hotels.com had 9 .0 rating on this hotel. It makes me not trust this website to book through you in the future. "

"This is an old property and needs a bit of fixing up. When we checked in and went to our room, the door was ajar. We didn’t find any evidence of anyone else in the room so we think the door did not get completely latched after it was cleaned. The door was hard to shut completely without a final tug. We requested that no one go into our room while we were away so we wouldn’t come back with the door potentially open. "

"Front staff rude and possibly drunk or high. She was talking about something but totally could not understand a word she was saying. Chicken coop outside our window was an experience! Roosters doing their thing very early in the morning. Rooms are very well worn. Breakfast room is so small barely can fit the people trying to get their breakfast. Better off staying in your car than this place."
