Heron 403 - Emerald Escape - Destin West - 2,400 sq ft

2400 sq ft condo with an additional 600 sq ft balcony overlooking the bay. Balcony has three separate seating areas with two tables for four. One of the most popular destinations on the Emerald Coast. Skywalk access to the beach. 3 1/2 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. Watch the wildlife from your balcony. Spend your days fishing on the private dock (no fishing license is required) or swimming in the emerald, green waters, our resort has something for everyone from the lazy river and seven (7) pools. Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Additionally, three (3) beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and tote wagon for your use to bring to the beach.

Beach Destination

This is our 6th time at this resort. I would definitely recommend this property for a large family to stay together. Fun and everything you want for a beach vacation. Easy access to lots of wonderful activities.

Great Stay

This was an awesome place to stay. Close to the pool/hot tub, close to the beach, and an overall nice place. The deck was awesome and had plenty of seating. The owner provided a wagon, beach chairs. and some other items for thee beach. We would go back. the beach.

Amazing resort

We had a few issues but the owner was incredibly responsive and repaired the issues as soon as possible. The resort had great amenities that were well taken care of and easy to access. Despite having to leave early due to hurricane threat, it was an amazing vacation and the condo offered great space for my family and a stunning view.

Great Spring Break

Enjoyed this property very much. It was windy during our stay so the porch was a little on the chilly side. Beds were nice as well as the view. Only gripe was with the pots and pans. We cook a lot even on vacation and the nonstick was not up to our cooking/health standards. Joe was a great host!!

Family Vacation

A group of 10 of us stayed and have no complaints. The view from the balcony overlooking the bay is fantastic. Plenty of room for everyone inside the condo. The kids really enjoyed looking at fish/crabs in the bay. The property is amazing plenty of pools and a awesome lazy river. This was our first trip to the gulf coast and the beach was definitely what we had hoped it to be. Joe checked on us during our stay and was very easy to communicate with.

Office Girls Trip 2023

Annual Office Trip for 2023 included 6 of us. Despite the fact that it rained the entire trip we made the best of it by shopping the nearby outlet stores and getting in the beautiful lazy river when the sky cleared well enough and we ate well at the nearby restaurants. The stay here was absolutely perfect with a magnificent view all the way around and the home was as nice inside as the view outside. Highly recommended !!

This place has it all.... Big

Property was amazing! So much room for our group and everyone had beds. Loved the wrap around deck with views (we saw pods of dolphins and stingrays off the balcony!). Easy and convenient walk to the beach. Can't beat the lazy river. Highly recommend if you rent a boat/pontoon the docks next door are a quick walk over less than 5 min and easy to bring stuff with you. Plenty of kitchen supplies and ice trays. Beach Cart chairs if you need in a closet. Place was amazingly clean. Easy to get ahold of host and he communicated promptly. If we come back to Destin I would book this place again in a heart beat! Thanks Joe!

What a beautiful Condo with a great host.

I’m not so good at these reviews but Joe was so kind and on top of everything I have to give this my best shot. The condo has a very beautiful view from the large patio. The patio alone is another living space. The rooms are plenty large and the master suite is the best of them all with a large room and even larger bath suite. This is a great location because you’re just a few minutes from crab island and all the rentals but not in the middle of it all. Pools and lazy river are a big hit with the kids and teens. Beach is a short walk over the sky bridge. Plenty of room to grab a spot and enjoy the white sand. I’m looking forward to returning asap.

Amazing!!

We had the best time. The condo was perfect, very clean and big enough for all 10 of us. It was well equipped with everything we needed and more!! The kids had a blast and so did the grown-ups. Would definitely stay here again!

This unit is VERY nice and roomy! The wrap around balcony gave us an excellent view of the sound and the sunrise.All of the amenities and rooms were up to date. In fact, it was like staying in a newly built condo. The host is very responsive and was very helpful with suggestions on where to keep my boat and other local information we needed. I will definitely stay in this unit again!

Beautiful location!

Property is exactly as listed! Beautiful balcony view right on the water and short walk via skywalk to the beach. Our family enjoyed every moment spent here. Very spacious for large or multiple families. Patrick was absolutely fabulous and took care of any issues promptly. Definitely will be coming back for our Florida stay!!

We've stayed in many Destin West units over the years. This one was above average quality in terms of wear and tear, and way above average in terms of views from the condo. A nice place to gather with our family.

Spacious and Everything We Needed

Heron 403 is a very spacious condo with a wonderful wrap-around veranda over looking the bay and the pool area. The well stocked "beach supply closet" had everything we needed for a day trip to the less crowded bayside beach on Okaloosa Island. This unit is set up to sleep multiple families comfortably to share some quality time together.

Beautiful view

This had the best view of the bay. Could see dolphins, stingray, fish, crabs every day all day. Walking distance to the pier and restaurants. The beach was an easy walk but overlooking the bay was our favorite part. We had a group of 10 people and never felt crowded. We also fished from the dock didn't catch anything but was fun to get out there and one night the dolphins came right up to the docks. The host was amazing to work with. Would stay here again.
