Our "sister trip" stay was absolutely great. The condo was nice, right on the beach with close proximity to restaurants in FT Walton and Destin, so that was nice. The ocean was beautiful, we saw dolphins a couple of days, and the pool (and area around it) was always clean. The grounds were beautiful and well kept as well. I cannot say enough about how accommodating our host, Beverly, was! She went out of her way to help us with a couple different request we had, and we were so appreciative. We were blessed to have this vacation together, and we hope to return here again.

Great location

Property was just as advertised. Location and views were amazing. Property was clean and kitchen was well stocked with cookware, etc. we loved sitting out on the balcony of an evening watching the waves roll in.

Great Beach Getaway!

Perfect location for our family vacation! The property sits right in the beach, just a short walk to the chairs/umbrellas for easy back and forth throughout the day.

Do NOT HESITATE to book this condo! Immaculately clean with beautiful view of the Gulf from living room and master with tons of natural light. We loved everything about our stay and felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. Really appreciated the complimentary beach chairs/umbrella each day. The beach is gorgeous and was not at all crowded. Don't pass on this one!

The condo was just as pictured, and it was very clean and had all the things needed for cooking. Loved being right on the ocean. They were doing some construction, but we were told in advance about this. The guys working were very courteous. Looking forward to next year!

Amazing Stay!

Our condo was amazing! It was exactly what we expected and we enjoyed our 12 night stay. It is perfect for our group of 4. The condo was well stocked with all the cooking necessities, however it lacked your basic salt & pepper and coffee so be prepared to shop right away. Bedding was very comfortable. Check in was easy and access to the beach was a breeze. The chairs and umbrella that come with the condo was a huge bonus! Have our own parking space was also a plus. We will definitely return!

Beautiful views from spacious condo!

This condo was very clean, spacious, and felt like home. We were very pleased with the amount of storage, comfort of the beds, large balcony, large kitchen and living area, and beachy decor. The beach is fabulous, with the softest, whitest sand I’ve ever felt and the famously beautiful emerald waters. The beach service including two chairs and an umbrella daily were extremely appreciated. The ocean waves were great for boogie boarding some days, and other days perfect for lazily wading and playing. Even when the chairs were all full, the beach never felt crowded, even though many families and children were all having a blast playing in the sand and water. There were a few sandbars for exploring, and watching the sunset from them was one of our favorite daily activities. The drive to the pier is only a few minutes, and watching the fishermen and surfers was pretty cool. There are a few shops and restaurants at the pier which were also nice. The pool at the condo is heated, which was heavenly. The hot tub was HOT. The pool was clean and just the right size. Parking for this unit was under a roof, which was an added bonus. Overall, we would definitely stay in this condo again! It was very clean, very big, appointed and equipped well, had a gorgeous view of the ocean, a beautiful beach, clean and warm pool, and was a very family-friendly, quiet and safe resort.

2023 - A couple of weeks on the beach.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo it's self is clean, well equipped and spacious. Some of the furniture needs to be updated. When I made my reservation there was no mention of construction. I later received an email stating construction to the outer building would be ongoing during my stay and it would be limited from 9-5 which undauntedly the time limitations did not make it's way to the construction workers. The noise from the construction was annoying to wake up too. The sun, white sand and the crystal clear water helped to over come some of the inconveniences.Over the years I've stayed all along the beach on okaloosa island and believe that it's has one of the most beautiful coasts around. The buildings along the beach are no higher than seven floors. If your looking for a great getaway without the party crowd this is the place.Sugar Sands Vacation Rentals gets a AA rating. (The top rating being AAA's is reserved for my next stay without the construction noise)
